Hmm - that's interesting, because at the same time of year my car has managed 305@atrw with just a decat and bleed valve, on that exact same RR. No idea what the fly figure was as I don't care. But, and the reason I mention it, is up at APT's RR one hot summer day my car did 315@atrw, and the 'corrected' fly figure was 350-odd, which is much more likely. Basically, forget about the fly figure, and concentrate on the wheel one. It's the one pushing the car along after all. Also bear in mind that different RR's (my car was unchanged between runs) will return different results.

The design of the engine is such that even if the cam belt snaps the pistons won't hit the valves - all Supra engines are like this except the VVTI NA, which are so rare that in 5 years in the club I've never seen one!

Ah, but they would have to signal you to stop in the correct way. Simply hollering 'STOP!' wouldn't be sufficient.

I was going to say. A mate imported an Integrale from Holland, and was able to leave the speedo in kph. I believe it's the case that if a car is sold by a trader, then it needs to be converted to mph, but that private imports can remain as kph.

In my opinion, don't ever bother mentioning the flywheel figure - just state your at wheels figure - after all, that's the one that counts, because that's the one pushing your car along.

If your '93 is still on the original rad it's probably shagged - the condition of the rad on my '95 when I replaced it was pretty awful!

Facelift aerotops definitely do exist - Faye has one! They're quite possibly the rarest Supra of all!

Faye's NA idles at about 600 or so when hot! Certainly not 1200!
