  1. Yes, but surely that only counts if you're limiting the boost by using the CAT. I'd have thought that if you're pushing the turbo with an EBC to counter the effect of the back pressure produced by the 2nd CAT, then you'll be doing more harm to the turbo's as they push harder to spin at the same rate against a greater back pressure.
  2. Cheers. I actually used that once before, but lost the link.
  3. I think Wayne (Supradibs) does momo handbrakes. Most traders do steering wheels. Or have a look on Ebay
  4. Reg N***PAE parked at the Mill pub when I went out for my (healthy) Subway sandwich J
  5. Need to see how finances are, but I reckon I'll be up for a set after Christmas. Look really good
  6. If you're completely stock, BPU would make a great difference. If you're just looking for a bit extra for the summer, I'd go BPU and accept that you're not really gonna get over 400 (fwhp) but have a decent, fast street car and save a lot of cash and potential problems. Mine did 13.2 @ 110mph quarter mile at Santa Pod, at 1.05 Bar, so maybe get into the high 12's running at 1.2, which is fast enough for me.
  7. I'm sure I read that when they quote that a bottle raises the octane by 1 point, they mean 0.1 RON. Therefore to get up to 98RON you'd need to add 30 bottles. Don't think would be good for the engine
  8. Will have to have a look at ASDA then. I've actually bought this at normal price twice in the past as I thought it was rather tasty
  9. Spotted whilst on my way from A34 towards M3. You were going the opposite way J
  10. I was behind you (driving a hire car ) as you drove from Bristol towards Bath and then went off onto the A4174 Ring Road after passing the tip near Syston Any takers?
  11. I'm looking to change my interior a bit and was wondering if anyone has a leather aftermarket steering wheel (and approapriate boss) for sale? cheers

    Petrol smell.

My Integrale had this when a couple of plastic pipes on the petrol tank failed and the petrol would overflow slightly and slosh out when going round roundabouts. Don't know if the Supra has any of these connector pipes which could fail in the same manner?
  13. Yes mate: The AC refrigerant had leaked out and caused the compressor unit bearing to weld itself, so it wouldn't turn. Needed a new compressor, plus fitting, testing etc. A few other new parts also needed (expansion valve and drier) and a lot of labour to fit!!
  14. You'd probably want to be getting 330 at the rear wheels to guestimate 412 @fly, assuming 20% losses (at worst).
  15. Yeah, but at £75 per hour that works out to 5 hours, which if it needs a bit of extra work to get to fit (and remove all the bumper, wheel arch liners etc) could be correct
  16. Interesting. I've had the same sort of thing a few times where the boost seems to drop off slightly as the car warms up. All fine at the moment, but I wonder if one of the VSVs is on the way out. cheers
  17. Tom, what your specific VSV problem? was the problem fixed by replacing the VSV?
  18. Nice to hear they're fitted, but we need
  19. Er, No - sounds hideous I'll keep a look out
  20. Easy Tiger (or is that Tigger ) Yeah I know, I'm not doing so well with availability at the moment. Going to see my brother in Newcastle, which will be good. Any news on a Christmas meet yet?
  21. Without a boost controller, I find that I lose 0.2 Bar boost and it is a lot quieter. If you've got a boost controller set to 1.2 Bar, then the boost controller will still force the turbo's to make 1.2 Bar, meaning that the turbo's will be working harder against more back pressure which may not be good for them.
  22. Don't recall. I think I gapped them to 0.8mm. Best check on here using search as I don't want to tell you something which is wrong
  23. Nic's got a group buy on the new HKS SSQV in his section
  24. On Sunday evening. Totally shocked to see a Supra parked in the car park where I'm doing a Training course. Unfortunately I've got a crappy 1.6 Focus as a hire car. Edit: been out tonight and it's still here.
  25. Sounds a bit like my Integrale where the radio turns off when I indicate left
