  3. Hi mate. I bought one 2 weeks ago - MR2 GT-S Turbo. Would love to keep the Grale, but can't justify 3 cars and don't have room either.

  5. Crap graphs (pic from phone), but mine is 321rwhp, at 1.05Bar boost. My boost creeps up as revs rise rather than staying static

  8. Tried and didn't like it. What I like is the low down power from the first turbo, then the kick when T2 comes in. It felt dead under 3000rpm
  9. Going the other way on the road they've just dug up. I only just spotted you as you went past as I was intent on looking for raised iron work
  10. Did that and it seemed OK, but will give it another check tomorrow (away tonight) so it will have plenty of time to drain back into the sump - maybe it's a bit overfull and needs some removing. Where you get your syringe?
  11. I think you're right. Can't do anything about it anyway, so I guess I'll just monitor it and see if turns into something nasty. Maybe a bit of crap petrol, as I'd just filled up and gone form V-Power to Esso 97 (Shell garage on the ring road seems to have changed hands overnight )

I've never had any sign of smoke from the car, despite 31/2 years of BPU, but tonight driving home I was coasting in D down a hill, knocked OD off and thought I saw a quick puff of smoke out the back. I then knocked it into 2 and am positive I saw a bigger puff. drove the final 5 mins home knocking it between 2 and D with the odd burst on boost then off then back on throttle, but didn't get any more. Got home and checked for smoke on idle, but nothing, so went for a 10 min drive and tried to recreate it down the same hill at the same speed etc, but nothing. I let the car cool down and went out again. No smoke on start up or idle and couldn't get it to do it again. Any ideas??

  18. Spotted on the A331 by Farnborough at 9:30 this morning, just off the M3 roundabout junction. You went off towards Frimley. Soon after I spotted another Silver one on one of the bridges over the 331 J

  21. I needed to replace the AC 2 years ago. cost about £1100 in total as I needed the water pump done too. That included getting a second hand AC compressor and having a full refurb done. Came back like new. I also needed the receiver/drier and expansion valve replacing. I think the AC has gone in the MR2 now Only owned it since last Friday but TBH I can't be bothered to get it fixed as I bought it a track car anyway.

  23. At what RPM are you seeing 0.9bar? Each stock turbo won't produce any more power at 0.9Bar than at 0.7Bar (due to heat soak) and their life expectancy will be a hell of a lot shorter. I also believe I recall some people saying that their cars produced the same power at 1.4Bar than at 1.2Bar on dynos, so no advantage runnig them at 1.4 and much more risk of destroying them.
