Exhausts have to exit behind the drivers door, and you're not allowed open wheels. A lot of rodders have fenders on that are very close to the wheel and have a tread pattern painted on so it looks almost like open wheels. Also most will have a switch to change to a more 'normal' exhaust, and then switch in the straight pipes when at shows or whatever. TBH most get away with breaking the laws because of what they are, it'd have to be a really crappy morning for the cop to pull you up on it all - especially so if you're on your way to a show.

Didn't Clarkson mention they'd had emails from people saying it's not a car show any more? Why don't they bleedin listen then!!!!! I get the impression they are just actors now, the BBC scriptwriters write the show as an entertainment show, with all fictional comedy and whatever, and the 3 goons just read the script and act the show. I'm sure they get more viewers that way but they're not the same viewers TG used to have. Such a shame.

Was a better show last night, still not brilliant but much better than last weeks. I was a bit annoyed that they felt the need to stage the lap as well, I mean I know the board is in the order they want but it's getting silly when they do a purposefully bad lap for the sake of a few laughs. I have to say when they came up with the competition I said Alpha straight away, then said maybe Lancia cos I LOVE the Delta Integrale.

Yeah my brother spent 3 years in Seoul teaching English with his missus, he loved it there and got a black belt in Tae Kwon Do while he was at it. He went to the border as well, they do tours around the meeting huts which involves walking around the table onto North Korea - they were told not to wander off of the white line or they'd be shot.

I'm sure there were some plots somewhere (from Chris Wilson?) that showed you gain absolutely nothing from TTC, it just feels different (some say better, some don't).

Surely they CAN'T be different sizes, cos when all valves are open the inlet and outlet of the 2 turbos are linked? The small one would just stall wouldn't it?

Anyone played with jet engines? My boss is building a turbine, he had it on a bike but is now onto a boat. He's looking for something to measure temperature and RPM, he said he wanted 2 inputs for each. Anyone know anything that can do it that's not really expensive? We use TC-08 thermocouple dataloggers at work, but they're £250 and obviously don't do RPM as well. //edit: this is for bench testing I believe, so to run/display on a notebook would be handy.

Resistive is more precise, just you have to press it harder than the capacitive types. You can't use the stylus on cap screens though it only works with touch - so you can't use gloves or anything either. Not sure which I prefer TBH.

They haven't removed it have they? How can they remove a search result? What's the point in a search if stuff can't be found? Why can't we remove the idiots who take offence to this kind of thing? Photoshop my face onto a snowman I'm sure I won't care.

How do you update them? Can you do it from their site or do I need to connect it to a PC or something? Can you tell I've never had a smart phone!
