- Is a smaller wheel diameter preferred? Presumably larger sidewall height is preferred... Larger sidewall is needed. This means smaller wheel size will have to happen to keep rolling radius samish - Is a stock 16 rear wheel (9x16 I think) wide enough, or do I need more? I use 16" stockers mate. Do a good job and some people use RX7 Wheels on Supes too. They are wide enough. I don't slip any more but did badly on normal road tyres - What are the preferred drag tyre's sizes? I saw both Justin and the Envy car had very large diameter MT's on and seemed to have fantastic grip at Jap Show. 255 x 16" x 50 Mickey Thompson ET Streets. Road and MOT legal and grip brilliantly. YOU NEED TO WARM THEM UP though for at least a 5, 6 second burnout or they won't be as good. - Do arches generally need rolling to fit decent size tyre's? Don't think so - Supplier's? When I turn on my ignition and don't start the engine my fuel pump activates. Is this normal? It is an upgraded pump so may it be wired up wrong? The car always stinks of fuel in the cabin too but I can't find any leaks.

OK so it isn't the nozzle restrictor ring. That is no where near the breather hole. Not the fuel pump area either. Perhaps it's had a rear end shunt and there is a hole in the top of the fuel tank.

4 Years later I find this thread! I have ripped out most of the rear of the car as it has always been stinking of fuel inside the cabin. Will check my restrictor nozzle tomorrow. Definitely not coming from the engine bay fuel inlet, outlet, fpr or the fuel filter.

16" stock Supra wheels mate on the back when I race. 16" x 255 x 50 Mickey Thompson ET Streets. They need to be burned out for at least 5 seconds before they will be warm enough to grip at Pod mate. Street tyres won't hold at all on that surface! You should be under 12 seconds with your spec and right tyres I reckon.
