  1. I want to fit a nice Levoc one. See pic. Just wondering how far you have to strip the unit down to be able to get the old one off without knackering anything. Looks like part number 35976B is the key here? Any tips?
  2. I need to get to these to fit a temp sensor 'T' piece. I have an extra tranny cooler fitted too. Do I have to take the front nose off to be able to fit the t piece or is there an easier access route to the oil lines? Cheers
  3. I've got a line lock kit on order I'm thinking of selling.
  4. Thanks again for letting me know it was a doable job Peter. The guy who did it laughed at the amount of people who think they have a leather dash. Me being one of them but mostly BMW owners. Ours is vinyl btw.
  5. This was the company I used. http://www.trimline-systems.com/contact.html
  6. Oky doky here it is at last. No I didn't use photoshop before you ask. I'm well pleased with that. I was thinking of re-covering the whole thing!
  7. Erm....................? Do you do chroming Burt? It's actually your garage pics that tickled my interest.
  8. Is it only black? I love the look of it in chrome but don't think it comes like this true?
  9. Ah cool. Pencil me in for it. Not sure how racing is going to go for me this year. I hope I can get under 12 seconds before the trans, turbos, engine, diff, driveshaft let go
  10. £200 where from????? After reading Supra forums I would love to take out that hunk of crap (butterfly) blocking the intake but sounds like I am tinkering on the cliff edge of transmission failure with my 3800 hi stall and 500bhp. Think I'll just take the fuse out for racing and leave it in for street. Shame though car is not such an animal with the fuse in. Perhaps I'll win the lottery and buy a BL TH400 transmission.
  11. Bloody ell mate only just noticed this! Is it costing you a bomb?
  12. In what way? I always take it out for racing at the strip and it's fine when I put it back in. After reading supra forums I think I'll leave the TRAC butterfly in and just remove the fuse for racing.
  13. Here. It'll make your TRAC flash though.
  14. No mate I promise you. Might be something to do with my Blitz Acces ECU dunno? Just pleased to buggery that I didn't have to rip out my trans, send TC back to USA, pay loads for shipping and replacing costs and be without her for 2 months. Researching TRAC removal kit now.
  15. Ahem................. so yes it was something simple. Took TRAC fuse out and now it goes like stink off the line and I can do burnouts
  16. Catch tank £40 from ebay - See the thread links. Braided lines from Demon Tweeks cost nearly double what the catch tank did!!!
  17. Inspired and assisted by John A's install instructions. Cheers John. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49867&highlight=catch+tank The bracket is a bit agricultural but I'll sort that.
  18. Just to conclude this post. Blimey Peter you weren't wrong mate. Had a guy from a company called Trimline come out to my work at lunch time. 45 Minutes and £50 later my dash looks bloody brilliant and has no holes in it! Bloody magic. Was like in Pulp Fiction when 'The Wolf' comes round to fix everything! Not that I had shattered skull contents on my back seat but you know what I mean. Will post after pic soon.
  19. Those spacings are not legal but try to keep to UK standard font, plate and letter size. That way you're less likely to get done. I hope. Mine is like this A1A AA When it should be A1 AAA
  20. Hmmm. Would seem so. I haven't actually managed one launch yet with my new TC. When i tried the revs just bounce down and up. Just waiting for Terry's help on the subject. Hope it's something simple.
  21. Have learned to change gear with the throttle pedal. Can't be a*sed to splice into the ECU Heard stories about shagging things up if you leave it locked at WOT.
