  1. Nice one John appreciate your time on it. I hope the hole that is there for my Biltz gauge is the same. Oh yer Dee you're right
  2. For getting me a nice new TRD front strut brace then chroming it. To be used for my transition from drag racing to circuit racing. Cheers boys looks sweeeeeeet.
  3. It's time to revive this thread I'm going back to Japan again in November but not Tokyo this time . I might squeeze a trip to autobacs in on Saturday morning to pick up a defi gauge or two though
  4. I already have an old Blitz EGT gauge plumbed in nicely to No. 2 exit but want to replace it with a Defi so that I can recall peaks and set alarms etc. Hopefully it will be the same size hole but do people put teflon tape around the thread of the temp probe as well? What's the norm? Cheers Justin

I don't resent the big pro cars I'm all for it but the events need to be better defined. My feeling is that there should be two simple categories. 1. Pro Tuner 2. Amateur Street How you define those would be tricky. I drove all the f*cking way to TOTB in my Supe, thrashed it consistently then drove home as I also do when I go to and from Santa Pod in my DOT marked MT's which have also passed an MOT. Then drove it to work on Monday. For the record what's this 'we' sh*t? There were only 3 supes running at the end of TOTB and I was one of only two Supes running at the last RWYB. Part of the reason 'we' are so far behind the yanks is that 95% of the club daren't race their cars for one reason or another even though it says in their sig that they have a 3000bhp single turbo and can beat a Concorde down the local high street!
  7. OK mate I'll measure them. It might be better to try and fit them though? Do you fancy a trip to Peterborough/Cambridge area?
  8. What brakes are they? They can't be bigger than my massive 6 Pot AP's????
  9. Last bump now then they are for eBay. Price dropped to £425 Great for track day wheels if you don't want to knacker your expensive bling street wheels on the circuit. Let me know quick if you want them.
  10. Lag on first turbo is not brill but power when 2nd comes online is high! I would test drive a single before making a judgement personally.
  11. Selling the Supe Ro whats wrong with you man! I'm gutted I can't go to this Getting married on the 8th and can't really move it
  12. With spoiler. I think if i take it off I'll trap higher but not sure I'll win any time. I would have tried it if I could have run more than twice in 6 hours!
  13. For safety, better burn (oxygenated) and allows me to run the boost a bit higher.
  14. I use these on the rear over stock wheels. They don't do them any wider. 255 x 16" x 50
  15. Same as before but this time with VP MS 109 fuel
  16. You were there you bugger? You should have said ello! I was Mr Lonely all day. I've only just realised that was your Blue mota doh.
  17. Do you mean when does it feel like I'm 100% in gear? I can't hold the brakes after 3200rpm so reckon it's engaging fully then. I launch in D not 1st.

  19. Kinda but it got caned today by all the 'cars that should be planes'
  20. Is it more grippy then? Hmmmm perhaps my season ain't quite finished.......
  21. Yeah I saw that post mate. I might well do. You can teach me how to use the steering wheel.
  22. At last! 11.7 Well pleased. I can retire now and move onto circuit racing. Had to wait for 5 hours to get one run in though. It's bloody ridiculous up there! All the pro's with Jet cars and funny cars that slam into the wall or spill oil everywhere get to go straight to the front of the que after taking 20 minutes track time to get ready. Then there were 40 motobikes who apparently also don't need to que and keep getting let in front of everybody. Some not very happy car drivers there me included. I only saw one other Supe racing. A red one. Did see two others parked up though later on. One with a Turbofit logo on the FMIC the other pale blue. I think that's me done for this year.
