New bearing for the rear is around £150 - 180 all in (clips and seals etc included). I'm not sure if the front is any cheaper.

This is the second one I've had, and it's really sneaky. eBay shouldn't have introduced that yellow button ("Respond Now") to the messages. This sort of thing is really gonna cause big problems for them! Can you not use WPA? It's so much better and easier. WPA-PSK (Pre-Shared Key) would be the one to choose. Unless your laptop card is very old, or you are trying to retain compatability with other old equipment, there's no reason why you should be using WEP instead of WPA. Some early cheapo stuff worked really badly with WEP enabled, but I'd expect the Netgear stuff to be okay. They use the Atheros Aeries chips in their current ('108mbps') stuff.

You can identify 168 pin because there are two notches in there. One near the middle, and another about 15mm from the edge. The 184-pin DDR sticks only have the centre notch. I can't beleive I'm having to google this stuff (number of pins..) I used to remember everything

I have some some 168pin pc133 SDRAM sticks in my bag, I think some are 256s and some 128. I presume you're not wanting ddr sdram?

mmm. It says they are both A340E, but that the TT has 7 clutch bands or something, and the NA has only 5. I just wish I could find the document again..

Honestly dude.. the Toyota pdf file which lists "changes in the mk4" or "what's new in the mk4" or whatever it is, clearly gives differences for the na autobox..

I think a lot of people think that, but the Toyota Technical stuff states various differences, one I remember being less clutches... it's in the "What's new in the MK4" part of the Supra Resource stuff, which I can't for the life of me find right now.

he's on about the n/a AUTO, which is the same as the TT box, but with less clutches and things, isn't it? So.. it'd be less than the TT A340 box, but isn't it still called an A340?

I think it would just about cope, with graphics set to low setting, but the machine has gone back out to another customer now anyway so isn't for sale any more
