  1. Looks like it's been copied and pasted from Mark Tosser's website.
  2. how about the other things that the dimmer should operate? (The ODO is one of those - it's as if your dimmer is over-dimming/cutting out)
  3. Funny that, I was discussing this with someone ages ago - I also prefer the erm 'intruded'?? (as opposed to extruded) style of scoop as seen on the 550/575.
  4. Yep I went and watched it live somewhere a few years ago. We had Adrian Legg instead of Malmsteen though. He was spectacular.
  5. lol. not heard this one. used to be a big fan of Satch, Vai, and EVH though. Was listening to P&W a few weeks ago. Coincidently I spotted a Satriani CD at my uncles yesterday and was commenting on the typical title of one track - 'Borg Sex'
  6. Three things to note: It looks like there were crossovers screwed on here, hence the four holes above the handle. Bit of a ripple above the window-switch area on the drivers side. The mounts are a lighter shade of grey than the door cards themselves. Looking for £50 for the lot. http://www.uk2sucks.net/doorcards/1.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doorcards/2.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doorcards/3.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doorcards/4.JPG The speaker mount on the passenger side isn't screwed on at the moment which is why it doesn't look flush - I've just sat it on top.
  7. Can't sell them separately. The cards have been cut to allow for these mounts.

  9. Jap Spec ECUs aren't that hard to find cheap i don't think..

ah, ok. I thought you might have meant the window-switch parts or something.. which I do also have.

I was, you're quite right.. hence why I'm still thinking perhaps I didn't do so bad. It just could have been so much better, for the sake of a bit of bubblewrap. I'll see if anyone's interested. What do you mean about the 'amount'? I'm trying to find a useful batch image resizer for gnome as we speak

I presume the door cards have had Crossover boxes screwed onto them hence the four holes. Who would do such a thing?!

They are extremely heavy.. much heavier than I would have expected.

I did sign as damaged, yes, but it's clearly the fault of the sender.. inadequate packaging, yes?

I can shrink the images Maybe I should change the topic title so I can point him here. The door cards weren't to be included anyway - his description said he also has some door cards for sale separately but they have been modified for larger speakers. No wonder he didn't bother trying to sell them in the end !! Also, is cutting the wiring loom at the grommet really the only way to do this? Is there not a nice plug that could have been disconnected and pulled through?

Do we still think I got a good deal for £100 + £60 postage. Have spare glass for both sides, mirrors, handles, and repairable doors.

I would have been happy to pay the £18.49 that a huge roll of bubble-wrap costs from Office world. I would also have been happy to say fuck it, the doors are repairable and at least he threw in the door cards which I wasn't expecting, but the 'modified for larger speakers' butchering they have had is pathetic. Can these be re-covered? http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/1.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/2.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/3.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/4.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/5.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/6.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/7.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/8.JPG http://www.uk2sucks.net/doors/9.JPG
  20. I suppose the risk is that these guys could remove their speedo-convertor wire so that the car goes back to counting in KMs, and say "there.. it's only done 63,000 KMs" come sale time..
  21. I thought it was illegal to sell a car on the basis of an adjusted mileage, but not illegal to do or have done to your car. The OP just wants KMs turned into Miles anyway.
