How bizzare/poor.

Light as the ace of spades.. that's a new one on me! I've heard 'dark as ..'

If you're interested, I have decided to bite the bullet and buy one of these 2ch motion detection recorders, and a couple of different cameras. I'll report back on how good/bad it is. I could do with doing a balance transfer on the ~£2,800 I have on my Morgan Stanley card, currently paying £50/month interest, but I'm worried that basically I'll be given another card, but with a silly credit limit of like £500, and therefore just end up with another card and very little of my balance transferred.

Barney, it's not a case of just 'wanting' the use the site-transformer, you must do so for safety, because the small solid-state triac based things can go wrong in a bad way. The way I did my PC was to buy a 14mtr 110v extension cable from B&Q, which was on special offer alongside the transformers, for about £8. I cut off the socket end and just wired the cable straight into the PC. This worked out cheap and gave a nice long cable. Wire colors don't matter. See here for a discussion on the transformer issue.

It's mental isn't it! I suppose he needs the mask and goggles due to all the smoke entering the car when he does the burnout.

Good man will you keep us updated on this, specifically the re-painting? I am planning to do the same thing but with a widescreen TomTom. I would like to move the heater controls down a bit, so they take up the upper DIN slot, and mount the TomTom where the heater controls are currently. I don't want a painted dash though, rather a textured or rubberised dash. I'd be interested to see the finished results, and if possible some work in progress for how you did what you've done..

I just can't accept that this part of the chassis and body is flexing so much at all. No way.

Are we to believe that without one of these, the whole of the engine bay is bending and flexing to the point that you can feel it around corners?
