  1. Awesome. I've spent much time going back to Terry's website (http://www.supravvti.com/) and admiring that car.
  2. Oh come on, he was a prick from the start when he came out with his ethnic cleansing bullshit.
  3. Not even bothered about the payout, just needed confirmation it was a write-off. I'll be picking the new one up tomorrow :D :D yaaaay! :D
  4. I don't think we do. It's covered on the fleet policy of a company I work contractually for. The policy simply states 'any vehicle and driver with the policy holders permission'.
  5. This is for the OFFSIDE (drivers side), not the nearside as the title initially said Superb condition, balljoint good, balljoint rubber good, bushes good. Absolutely A1 condition. £75 including postage. over £180 (+ postage) from Mr T.
  6. I went through the 'trader and found a few. One cheap at £5,495 with 130,000 miles, and a more realistic £6,900 for a 156,000 mile car I have also forwarded an excerpt from the model differences FAQ on here, stating the higher specification and rarity etc. Fingers crossed for over £6k. Glass's online evaluator gives £4,000 for A1 condition trade.
  7. Just had confirmation of the write-off. £6,000 - £7,000 repair cost Don't think I'm going to be on a train to Kidderminster and back to Warrington in time for tonight though.
  8. grr. Thanks guys I'd better get some money into paypal so I can do a refund. Did you know that PayPal won't use your bank account as a source for refunds? You have to do the whole "transfer funds from a bank account" and wait 10 days, and then do the refund out of there I was hoping to get payment for a computer in via PayPal later today and do the refund with that, but that's not happening now.
  9. for sure? Still worth good money? (even though I've lost some now..)
  10. Where's the bracket for the shock-absorber mounting?!? These aren't the right part at all. Any ideas WTF they are? What a PITA for both me, and the guy who had his car at the mechanic for fitment
  11. I don't beleive it. I wonder if the pair I was sold were actually from a MKIII or something? Here's what the other one from my pair looks like, and following that are the pictures from when I replaced my own with a new stock item, many months before.. They don't look the same Fuck. Postage was £20 as well. http://www2.css-networks.com/lca2/1.JPG http://www2.css-networks.com/lca2/2.JPG http://www2.css-networks.com/lca2/3.JPG http://www2.css-networks.com/lca2/4.JPG http://www2.css-networks.com/lca2/5.JPG and the new one I had.. http://www2.css-networks.com/lca/1.JPG
  12. What's this all about then? I supplied a 2nd hand O/S LCA to a member here, and his mechanic says it's too small? ??? any ideas?
  13. Help! Chatting with the very friendly insurance engineer, and he wants me to provide examples of UK auto cars which have sold for reasonable money. Has anybody got anything? Please! thanks, Carl
  14. Is that the front or back? If that's the front then I'll take it.
  15. Sorry about that then I was sure Pneumoni used to have a similar name to Jonny5..
  16. Imi, what condition is this one of yours in?
  17. I think GZAeroJon is the usual suspect.

    Auto Vs Manual

The stock autobox won't take 900rwhp so it has to be either a manual or a different autobox like the TH400's or whatever they're called.
  19. Hiya mate. Mine is surely a write-off, but so far we haven't been able to get proper confirmation of this from the insurers. It's looking like this might happen today though, as I'm about to be given a number for the engineer so we can agree a write-off figure. I guess that means it *is* a confirmed write-off. So the new baby is bloody close If I am able to buy back the salvage for less than a grand then I will be doing so.
  20. too expensive It already has a 2JZ. The non turbo motor is a 2JZ-GE, the turbo motor is a 2JZ-GTE. Better idea
  21. Ring Steve Manley on 01865 291 300 for a better price.
  22. I probably won't be Still no Supra, as the insurers *still* haven't been able to utter the magic words "yes, it's a write-off" to the person holding the purse strings
  23. I had problems in the following areas: Surface rust underneath the top of the rear hatch, on the main body. You could see this when the hatch was up. This was also present on another car I looked at. (Pneumoni's car). Bubbling around the top of the windscreen. This was also present on Petes old N/A. Bubbling on the O/S rear wheel arch. What a shame the car's now written off
