  1. I am selling the phones that I have collected over the last year or so. I have, in order of newness: Sony Ericsson K610i Sony Ericsson K600i Sony Ericsson V600i The V600 and K600 are the same phone, except that the K one is the Orange version, and the V is the Vodafone version. The Orange version is much nicer, has a brushed metal front and keys which are very nice, while the Vodafone version has black plastic. The K610i is an updated newer model of essentially the same as the above - it is noticably quicker to operate through menus and predictive-text inputting. All support 3G and Bluetooth, voice dialling, video-calling etc, and all have 2 megapixel cameras without autofocus. The K610i has the benefit of a micro Memory-Stick slot which currently has a 64mb memory stick in it. They all have FM radio, which requires the use of the earphone thing to act as an aerial. The situation with regard to accessories is unclear. I can probably find the earpiece cables for two out of the three, and I will make sure I can find the chargers for them all. I am fairly sure I have the original box and manuals for the newer one, the K610i. Software, which I could probably find, would be better downloaded from the Sony Ericsson website anyway. They all have some small marks (stone chips? ) to the corners, but nothing too drastic. £65 for the K610i £45 for the K600i £35 for the V600i, as this is in the poorest condition being black plastic and older than the rest. Postage on top, should be about £8. Paypal preferred, no extra fees.
  2. The N95 does indeed look quite good, but it's no good for myself, as it doesn't do push email w/an Exchange server, or 3G, and it has the average resolution screen. It might be worth considering for the purpose of selling though so I will keep an eye on it if Orange say they don't expect any stock of the Sirocco, or if they want me to pay an unreasonable amount of money for it. Thanks for your input guys, much appreciated. Looking forward to getting my e70 now, and I can finally have TomTom again and this time I won't be leaving the TomTom in the car any more
  3. hmm. That just looks like a PDA to me, with a plain old low resolution screen. The E70 has the funky 352x461 high-res screen. Anyway, I need something that I can get and sell now to pay for the E70. The Scirocco, as Matt said, seems to be popular/expensive, although Orange are showing out of stock right now, I will enquire.
  4. I'm looking and it seems like it might be a Nokia N73 or Samsung D900 or Sony Ericsson w810i. Anything from Orange basically.
  5. I just bought the Nokia E70 that I want from eBay, so I intend to use my upgrade eligibility to get a phone that I'll sell straight on eBay. What in peoples opinions is the best phone to go for? Easiest to sell for ~£250 - £300 on eBay? thanks, Carl
  6. I'm entitled to an upgrade on my Orange contract, and I want a Nokia E70. Unfortunately Orange don't offer the E70. Does anybody have a new one that they would like to swap for a particular phone, of simliar value? I'd simply request that phone from Orange and do the swap. cheers, Carl
  7. The dildos aren't expensive from Toyota, and if other's cars are like mine, then you don't stand much chance of getting a useful used pair. The brackets behind mine, holding them in place, were all rusted and so removal meant destruction.
  8. I could be wrong, but I suspect VVTi N/A's are extremely rare. I really could be wrong though.
  9. What was bad about the exterior? Rust spots? Bubbling? Lacquer peeling? In the pics it looked fabulous - no yellowing or clouding of the headlights and obviously freshly waxed..
  10. There was a Facelift VVTi Gunmetal Auto/Tip on the trader for £8,250 not long ago. Might still be there.
  11. nah. I still have a few weeks left of my Saturday job, although I have managed to get the day off for Flame & Thunder next Saturday :waahey:
  12. You can legitimise any Windows XP with a valid key. e.g., you can install the Corporate, VLK, dodgy XP Pro, and then later turn it into a legal OEM version with a legit OEM key. The same applies to Home edition. To get around upgrade issues, e.g. Home Edition OEM can't be used to upgrade Win9x/Me machines, I would use a dodgy retail edition of XP Home, to do the upgrade, and then use this tool to turn that into a legit OEM version afterwards. The tool is here: http://www2.css-networks.com/KeyUpdateTool.exe
  13. Oooh dude I missed this post. I'll come and show you at Mascrat next time, provided I still have a car and wheels etc. ;-)
  14. Dodgy speedo convertor? My power steering seems fine, and everything about the box seems good except that.. At an indicated 55 - 60mph, very light throttle cruising on the motorway, I can feel/see (rpm) the box coming in and out of TC lockup. Whaddaya think? Perfectly normal and I'm just being too observant? Or what? cheers
  15. I thought it was going to cut to a little remote control nitro buggy behind the camera or something
  16. So I've just bought two sets of McGuard locking wheel nuts, and the key from one set fits the other. WTF is the point in that?
  17. Nah, the girlfriend rents a house there. I've been staying with her.
  18. Trust me, if I didn't stick to my word, I'd probably have suffered much more and much worse damage to the car at later dates. You should've seen their faces when I was sliding around roundabouts Comical. The young ring-leader, who's 15, but looks 12, was telling us how he's going to cut our throats and torch the house.
  19. They're all like gangs around here. It's a notorious area. I think we'll be okay now. I made a point of saying I won't pay if it happens again. It really is about time to get my video recording system hooked up. I'm about to buy the necessary in-car PSU from eBay now.
  20. That's sounding good, thanks Matt. I think the siren-linked infra-red floodlight over the driveway is going to be the best thing first. Definately locking wheel nuts though.
  21. No. I don't know what the current alarm is, but I think I saw the word "GEM" on a box in the car whilst I was fitting my amps the other day. I was just thinking of system's which do this, and the Blackjax came to mind. I've just googled it and I think that's for car-jacking only so is no good.
  22. Surely some half-intelligent alarm company has tied a mercury tilt-switch to a car's wishbone?
  23. Yeah but no one knew a fucking thing until I said I'd pay fifty quid to whoever found it for me. The lad found it within 10 seconds, and his mates found the wheel nuts, all ten
  24. That's about the top and tail of it. I'm new in this area
  25. Yup that's exactly what I was going to do. I think each set only contains one nut per wheel, hence why I was going to get two sets. Amanda says the set she had comprised of twenty different sockets - all unique. Still, father in law air-chiseled them off with no problem.
