Stuck in the up position. Can hear the thing trying to retract it self when i turn the radio off but its not winning. Sounds like grinding teeth. Is this a simple fix? anyone got the bit i need. Cheers

change in weather temp?.. the ECU will soon learn to idle again. Give it a good thrash and see if that helps. Mine does this once in a while too

My starter went to ..and it had the same symptoms as yours. JUst got a second hand starter for £30 and got a local mehanic to fit it for £40. Job done

Does the supra have a warning buzzer/ Light for if the coolant temp reaches the red or if its low ?.Say you had a problem and the temp started to rise and you did not notice the guage- would the car warn you? I ask this because a friend damaged his head gasket coz by the time he noticed it was too late. -

Just don't boot it;) the turbos are not on line when cruising =-only when you give it a bit then it starts to spool

just by pass it- its not needed thats why the Jspecs dont have them. Only needed if you do 120+ mph on the german Auto barn!! I have by past mine and no problems reported for 3 years now. Very easy to do just remove the old cooler get some fuel pipe and fit in place of the cooler. Job done!

Mine was sticking a month ago- I got a second hand one from here for £30 instead of referb the old one- took it to a meachnic who fitted it for £40- job done!

don't boost- take it easy 2 min/miles before you arrive at you destination. no need then to leave it idling.

Just tell them not to drive it! simple- I never let anyone drive my car .. Unless of course it is vital to test it- Then I make sure I am there when they do.

LOw gas- Needs a charge- there is a pressure switch which detects when the gas is low- when its low the compressor does not engage
