  1. And your speed was ? in a ? zone ???
  2. It may have been a Car Tax / Insurance one ... there would have been a hidden police car 100 yards up the road waiting to stop any offenders. Most of these that I have seen are dark blue, and have two camera's out of the back top two windows.
  3. Subaru Legacy Estate. edit ... smaller ... Audi A3 4dr version, pref 2.0 litre diesel.
  4. This is just the beginning ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7719369.stm
  5. This is happening where I am too .. some roads makes sense, but others are just dangerous, especially when there are houses with almost blind drives to pull out from ... let alone pedestrians. Sign of the times huh ?
  6. I have a brand new full carbon TRD style wing purchased from Nic about 12 months ago which I never used. Its mint, still in the box/bubbles etc. £300 will secure. First to PM gets first dibbs.
  7. I'll take them for £125 if gaz doesnt want them ... collection from watford suits me... pm me if there's a deal to be done
  8. This is what the country needs to stay afloat right now. Small business are going to the wall every day as their margins are too tight .... but is this the end ... or will be there be another cut just before the next election ? I'm on my lenders SVR at the moment and thats good news for me as they have already said its down by 1.5% I'm not going to even think about remortgaging until autumn next year when the deals should be a little more favourable ... til then SVR of 5% suits just fine.
  9. Don't think I'm a chav ... although did you meet my friend No special plans yet ...
  10. I wouldnt worry about it, most machines are checked by logging on to them just to make sure they work. Bit like delivery mileage on a new car really. More important things to worry about would include checking to see if it was stolen etc. Most machines no longer come with installation CD's, its all downloaded now ... unless you have specific drivers that are not factory standards. You'll always find what you need on the web... Ebay is mainly for cheap things so I wouldnt expect too much from anybody selling on ebay ... set your expectations a little lower maybe ... or go to PC World (that's a joke before any jumps on it !).
  11. Hand Glaze should get rid of the cat marks ... available from any decent motor factor ... don't rub too hard though ... the cat might get upset
  12. Got to go soon as we are having a big clearout ... so open to any reasonable offer to anyone that can collect in the next 2 weeks.
  13. About 1000 miles in the last two years ... but every one driven with a smile on my face and a frantic shift of my gearstick
  14. Fire148

    Mclaren f1

If I had that sort of money, I'd buy a small british car company and design my own
  15. I hear that some MOT garages equipment is not as sensitive as it should be ... if anyone knows any in the wiltshire area then now would be a good time to send a PM me thinks ???
  16. Paul Gadd can help with this, you'll find him in most child chatrooms... (but if you need some help send me what you have and I'll offer my comments in a more constructive way )
  17. A guy I work with has a 2.2 twin turbo ... he has spent a fortune on keeping it on the road, but loves it to death. When I drove it, I must admit to liking it, seriously good handling and excellent balance. But I'd never buy one in a million zillion eons.
