  1. Any reason for the change of turbo kit?
  2. I'm running a bosch 044 fuel pump at the moment at BPU and it is pretty noisy. However, I am getting the same issue as harryww89 where the car holds back slightly on the 2nd turbo when warm (first 20mins driving it is fine) and thought it may be the pump also. It has been in there around 5 years now but as Chris mentions, they are reliable so I'm now thinking it may not be the pump.
  3. I can't do until the end of the month now unfortunately.
  4. I know that a98Malcolm got good gains from his car with a similar route you are thinking using a Syvecs ECU.
  5. Thanks fellas. Turtlehead I'm near Wolverhampton so may take you up on that, cheers mate. I did think it could be coil packs so bought the new Whifbitz ones going on Pauls recommendation on them but it still retained this hesitation once changed hence me thinking it is something else. IIRC Tony still had the issue after changing to OEMs and found it to be the mapping?
  6. Anyone have any ideas? Could the ignitor cause such symptoms?
  7. I agree with the consensus here and would go small single if you can. However inlet, cams, FPR, larger injectors, ECU (I have a HKS FCon Pro S for sale) would see a slight increase and would be the way to go if you're staying stock twins. I think the hybrids route will put you close small single money territory anyway so rule that out.
  8. Gents looking for some info on what to check. The car drives fine from cold and even after 20mins or so into a journey, the car boosts fine to the redline in all gears. However, after about a 30 - 45 mins drive it seems to hold back slightly (2 shunts) from 5K RPM to redline. If I turn the car off and on again (i.e. petrol station scenario) and it's still warm, it boosts fine again for a short period of time before I get the hesitation again. Any ideas on what could be causing this. Car is a 94 TT6 BPU running 1.2 bar. Coilpacks (new Whifbitz ones), spark plugs, coilpack clips, boost pipes have all been checked and replaced.
  9. Be interesting to find out what the issue is mate. Keep the updates coming and good luck with it.
  10. What is everyones preference - early morning, afternoon, or evening meet? Providing we are aiming to do it on a weekend.
  11. Nice work mate, well done.

  14. I can't do the end of the month but should be free after that.
  15. I don't mind the Falcon, it is a good spot for a meet and a meal. I think it's easily accessible for most also.
  16. Whilst we are trying to sort out the date, does anyone have any ideas on a location?
  17. Well done. Now go get the keys to your dads car and take it for a spin. We've all done this on the day we passed our test
  18. I can't do the end of July/1st weekend in August. (Weddings) How about the weekend after - 8th and 9th August?
  19. I should have my car back next week hopefully so I'm in providing I'm free. How much notice do people need? I was thinking the August bank holiday weekend which is the last weekend that month? Or is that too late?
  20. Damn it. I've just found out that I have a wedding to attend on the 2nd If we get another date sorted then I should be in for that but if not, I guess there's always next time.
