I finally took the plunge and have started an engine swap after having sourced a VVTI 2JZ-GTE - which now makes the Non VVTI 2JZ-GE redundant and of no use to me (also it now needed an engine rebuild!) The engine's already out of the car and can be picked up or I can have it delivered on a pallet - unsure what the costs might be though. You're more than welcome to arrange it yourself if more cost effective and convenient.
At this stage I do not know if I can use the sump off the 2JZ-GE as the GTE I've sourced is a front facing sump and if someone has the relevant experience or know where I can get a conversion kit please please please do help out! Saw a couple across the pond for £1000 before shipping and customs and I can't come to terms with it!
I haven't got an asking price so really just make me an offer for what you feel it would be worth and it's all yours. I do have an idea of what I'd like for it at least but then again we're all here for each other so I'll take whatever you want to give for it.
The engine is complete with ECU, wiring harness, ancillaries etc (not sure of the sump at this stage). However, I feel it is important that you are made aware that the engine had a knock / rattle which lasted a few seconds every time I started the car. It did get worse over time. Visual inspection showed nothing, never opened it as I had planned a swap anyway so perhaps you might want to buy it as spares. I have absolutely no idea what would be wrong with it. I do know the seals are gone as it had only just started leaking oil from around the rocker cover. Sknin short it will not be a case of just throwing it in your project car and turning the key. It will need a rebuild.

The mileage is a mix of KM's and Miles which currently equate to 110,000 miles.
