  1. I haven't heard from you since the 10th when you said my lights would be posted on the 13th. Now the 19th and I'm still waiting for you to get back to me. I PM'd you again a couple of days ago but guess you didn't get it, or it got lost, or you've been too busy. Anyway, hopefully you'll see this, or a fellow mod will. Can you please let me know what's going on? Have you posted them? Are they even ready yet? Will save me sitting in the dark. Cheers Elliot
  2. Tell him not to speed until the probation period is over!
  3. The rectangular switch is for the folding mirror, and the round one is for the fog light. Just got to check if I've got an airbag now! (don't remember seeing one)
  4. Good stuff! Hopefully I wont a) electrocute myself! b) set my alarm off & not be able to turn it off! So the switch has a lip around it then? Thanks!
  5. First of all, in order to take off the dash panel around the gear lever, I need to disconnect the Clifford alarm switch & flashing LED. What is the procedure for this? One of them has a little black clip which I guess you just disconnect, the other has the two connector 'thingies'. They don't look like they're soldered, but is it a good idea just to pull them apart? Do I need to disconnect the battery, or do something with the alarm? Sorry, as you may guess, I have no clue! Also, I'm getting my dash panels sprayed silver. The replacement one I've got (black) has an extra hole, but the existing one (with the crappy walnut effect) has the folding mirror button. Can this button be encorporated into the other dash? (the black one) Will I need to cut a lump out to fit it? I don't want to mess it up, so will it be easier to take the other dash panel (walnut) off & use that? Basicly, does the switch have some sort of cover to hide any rough edges from cutting the hole for it to fit? Does any of this make sense? Can someone help!?
  6. I pulled them from the outside inwards. Just be careful you don't break the tabs at the top which accomodate the screws!
  7. I had these on mine. There is a screw at the top of each one, and then it was a case of pulling them off slowly. One of mine had been double-sided sticky-taped, and the other had some sort of gripfill! I used the nozzle on a WD40 can to squirt some in there. Not sure if it helped or not, but I got them off eventually with no damage, by pulling it then wedging my hand in to get better leverage nearer the sticky tape. Then spent a long time scratching off the excess with my finger nails! Not that it mattered, as you can get a plate made up to cover any damage anyway, but at least you know it's nice underneath!
  8. Yup, poll it is! what options do you reckon? Do you like this spoiler? Yes, I love it Yes Not sure No No, I hate it I'll put a few photos up as well.
  9. Like I said, when I saw it without the spoiler yesterday, it did look good. Next time I get some work done down there, I might have a serious think about it though. It has a kind of grown on me since I bought it though (even the window spoiler was starting to grow on me!) There must be at least one person who likes it?! (apart from the previous owner, who bought it!)
  10. Thanks! Forgot to say they sorted out where the window spoiler brackets had been (they left a mark) & at the front/passenger side they did some work tidying up a previous bit of mess! There's still loads I want to do, but it's all money I suppose.
  11. Whoops! 'No aerial' photo!
  12. Wahey! Got it back today & looks like they've done a great job. It looks so much cleaner now As you can see - gone is the rear wiper base & sprayer, aerial, Toyota badge, Supra Badge See - no aerial! All I need now is a rear bumper without a foglight cut in. Fingers crossed I'll get my clear conversion lights (sprayed silver) from Ray soon, and get my foglight conversion kit from Emin on Monday or so.
  13. That's because they're simple folk down there, with no axe to grind! I used to play footy down there in that crummy little park, and behind that you can get to the reservoir (used to go swimming in there, God knows what I caught!) if you follow that road all the way ound, it will take you alongside HMS Collingwood. Incidentley, there's a Supra for sale at the garage at the end of that road (opens onto Newgate Lane) Strange eh!?
  14. Isn't Burnt House Lane off Mays Lane? I had a friend used to live down there.. Stubbington is near Fareham / Titchfield in Hampshire Have you checked your car's still outside!?
  15. LOL, too late they're closed! The only reason I decided to get rid of the rear wiper base and sprayer is because the spoiler wouldn't allow the wiper to move! What am I like......
  16. For those of you who are interested, I went and saw it today. It looked great! Looks like they're doing a good job. I should be able to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. When I got there I saw it and the spoiler was off, with all the other bits removed and smoothed over and it looked great! From the side it looks a funny shape, but every other angle the car looks really good. Just wish I took my camera down there. There are four (or was it 8!?) small holes where the spoiler goes back in. I was thinking about getting them to smooth it all over & get rid of the spoiler when I saw how good it looked without it, but didn't want to panick decision it! I suppose it'll be fairly easy if I do decide in the future. Anyway, fingers crossed I'll be posting some photos tomorrow! (hurry up with those lights Ray! ) (hurry up with the fog light conversion stuff Emin! ) (hurry up someone with a silver bumper for me! )

What colour is it Nic? I'm still after a rear bumper, as long as it's not scratched, dented or has anything cut into it!
  19. This thread is starting to worry me. I suppose there's not really much you can do about it though....(apathy )
  20. Scary read! I like the bit about no research being allowed in the USA! Is this something to do with Kyoto? (spelling?)
  21. Elliot

    lol

Think it's lots of laughs or laugh out loud or something like that....
  22. Got it! (sorry...was bored )
  23. Is your car still off the road? You could buy it for the lawnmower! The cards are naff this year, all they've got is quotes about the car. Last time, it was performance figures etc - much better IMHO.
