  1. Supposedly I'm getting the car back this weekend (minus £600-£700 ) so should be able to make it now
  2. I've seen photos of both a black one, and a yellow one. Someone said the yellow one was the black one painted up, guess not. That means there's two Why o why?!
  3. I can't even change a valve cap! Let alone finding the problem & fixing it using the right parts! (seriously, last time I went to pump up my tyres I ripped the valve stem thing off! ) I doubt I'll be using Toyota, will be using Toyoda Tech (Toyota specialists nearby) not sure if their prices are any better than Toyota, but they seem to know their stuff down there. I have no idea what needs to be repaired / replaced at the moment so will get them to check it over. Anyone have any idea why this might have happened? I can't remember driving over any bumps or anything when it happened.
  4. Looks a good fit - did you buy from a trader on here? IMHO, you definitely need some skirts & spats on there to balance it out, looks a bit front heavy at the moment!
  5. Hmm, the back's lively enough as it is, so might stick to stock I think! I'll let you know how I get on at the garage when I know. In the meantime, any more advice / knowledge on the subject would be much appreciated!
  6. From what I remember, unless they've started to cross (ie their foot is on the crossing) you don't have to stop. Bit mad really. If they're just standing there let 'em have NUR!
  7. What's the benefit of upgrading to that over stock? If there's not much difference in cost, and it was worth it, then it's a possibility...
  8. Driving around last night, I heard/felt a big bang from the rear. The car carried on no problem, but I still pulled in up the road where it was safe to do so to check it over. It seemed fine, until I steered to the right on almost full lock, at which it made a "clunking" sound. Rather than make it worse I called the RAC who had checked it out... "Suspected internal fault with differential (output shafts seem to have excess movement)" He pointed out that rather than just spinning around, they were moving from side to side slightly. He said it could eventually cause the rear wheels to lock. He also said the fact my car is so low, could help prevent it from flipping over! Got it onto the flatbed, and taken home It is still driveable, but didn't want to risk it. Tomorrow, I'm going to call the garage (Toyoda Tech) and ask them to take a look when they can fit it in. Has anyone had similar problems? Could it be anything else? What could have caused it? Most importantly - what is the estimate cost for replacement/repair + labour? Thanks
  9. My rear diff. went last night, and am phoning the garage Monday morning, so fingers crossed it wont take to long to get sorted
  10. Hello & from a fellow Hants member!
  11. Sounds good, as long as it's not raining or anything. I'll be there. Convoy?
  12. Hello Baz, welcome - (of the TT that is!)
  13. We want the full story! Not the edited version!
  14. I suppose with it being far away, you wont be gutted if you see it (if that makes sense!) I saw another black one earlier at the Titchfield Gyratory. Not sure if it was the same one though as it was an aerotop. Didn't get a good look though.

    My Skyline (Pics)

Looks lovely mate. I love Skylines in that blue, with the carbon/black bonnet. Nice one.
  16. Gutted, didn't realise you had sold it yet! Did you sell it to someone local?
  17. Near the Hoeford pub around 7.30am this morning I didn't see you until you were level side on with me going towards Gosport, so didn't have time to wave / flash / beeb / Supra salute!! Was it you Lee? Nice red RX7 a couple of cars behind. Saw a Noble M12 GTO on the motorway as well just after! (going the other way )
  18. Wednesday, July 5, 2051 (in normal mode) My BMI is 30, which makes me "obese"
  19. I'd lay the blame on the morons causing the accidents - not paying attention, not indicating, not checking blindspots, tailgating, slamming the brakes on so they can rubberneck, oh yeah - and speeding!
  20. Brilliant! Kopite - Have you explored the fact it could be classed as an extenuating (sp?) circumstance? In that case, don't they average your grades out from previous years etc? Not sure if it's any different due to the course you're on, but hope you get it sorted mate.
  21. Sunday night - 8pm ish. I think it was the NCP carpark! (still pissed from 3 days solid drinking in Budapest!) Looked like a Black J-Spec, parked next to a Porsche Cayenne. I couldn't hang around to have a good look as I was getting a lift in my mates 318!!
  22. On the dual carriageway up near the Eastleigh roundabout coming out of Southampton. I was sitting at the lights, when I looked up I saw a J-Spec going the other way, after the usual moment of shock, I had time for a quick wave! Anyone on here!
  23. Brilliant! That's better than the 'Arnie' soundboard!
