Around 4.30pm today on Brockhurst Rd/Forton Rd, saw one black one outside the CO-OP, and one drove past me down by St Vincent College, didn't have time to wave! 2 in the space of 2 minutes! Anyone from here?

I remember a member from Greece, or some other country (I can't remember his name) talking about doing this a while back. I'm sure someone will know who I mean, and it might be worth contacting him to see how he got on. I think it would be a good mod, but I guess it's adding extra weight, would be good to find out how much all the bits needed weigh compared to the standard mechanism.

Exactly. He'll probably want a medal because he "stopped you from speeding into the junction ahead" & therefore saved lives by crashing into you. I can't remember what the stopping distances are, but if you're doing 30mph+ (using his superior speed judging abilities) with 15 metres to stop, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't stop in time. You have stopped before the junction so how can he even have the nerve to say something like that? Did you ask him how he knew you were speeding? Rather than concentrate on his own driving / corner taking, did he have his speed gun pointing at you? This bloke sounds like a pathetic wimp who can't face up to his responsibilities. What a moron. Make sure you let the insurance know the weather was raining / drizzly yesterday, which is probably one of the reasons he lost it round the corner, plus the fact HE was the one speeding, and looking at the lady.

Looks to me from the photo's that he's swung wide on the turn, hit you & bounced off. He's a lot nearer the line, whereas your car is well inside the line. What's his evidence that you were speeding? The fact that it fits his story?

Paul, how much do you charge to fit these? I guess it depends on the kit (incidentally, what kit did you use?) Can't afford them at the moment, but it's something I would like...

I'm giving a mates "sister's boyfriend" a lift to a prom in Hedge End on Friday. He asked me about 2 months ago. It's only round the corner from his house as well! I've got to be in Hedge End for 19.20. If you don't find anyone Jake, I could come over to Pompey slightly earlier, but would have to leave about quarter past I guess. (5 mins to Hedge End from Pompey? Easy!) I'll e-mail him today and find out if I can pick him up slightly later. Then again, would you want your daughter in a Supra with a spoiler like mine!?

It's a sorry state of affairs. If you do catch the little bastards, make sure you don't infringe their human rights. i.e. they can do whatever they like to you or your property and get less punishment than you will for being 4 miles over the speed limit on your way to your job (which, incidentally pays for them to be able to roam the streets when they want, doing what they want) Great isn't it? You even get to pick up the bill for it to! It's going to get a lot worse as well. Think of this generation having kids, which will be even worse than they are. Who's up for emigrating somewhere where the majority of parents still fulfil their responsibilities?

After a very sweaty trip to Slough yesterday I have decided I do need my aircon blowing cold air after all! The revs increase when I turn it on, and it heats up fine, it's just the cold air isn't cold! (if that makes sense!?) So I guess/hope it just needs re-gassing. Does anyone know a trusty aircon specialist in Hampshire? Preferably Portsmouth/Southampton area. If not, I'll check the yellow pages, but thought someone here might have used someone who they could recommend. Also, how much roughly does it cost?

Forgot to say in my last post... Does anyone know if there's a regulatory body for petrol stations? Maybe you could get the fuel tested down there, might be worth a shot if there's a slight niggle that it might have been the fuel - just to put your mind at rest.
