  1. LOL! Didn't someone post a similar story to this a few days ago? Where's the Supra community spirit gone?!
  2. Bloody hell! All in one day? Must have been driving in a nice area then
  3. Haha! I'm keeping the spoiler, so I guess I wont be giving you lifts anywhere Jake! You're right about the badge. I'm not sure if it was an option or not but I don't like it. The Supra badge isn't an original one either.
  4. Cheers Bobbeh I thought there were too many 'stuck on' bits, and am just getting round to sorting a few of them out. Obviously having that huge spoiler messes a few things up, but I think it looks great with the CF bonnet so am keeping it. Tried doing the foglight conversion today but couldn't find a 5 pin relay anywhere. Phoned about 15 places, but they either didn't answer or didn't have any. I'm still looking for a silver rear bumper if anyone wants to swap/part ex! Although the foglight isn't a stick on, there's obviously a big hole in the bumper behind it which might be uneconomical to repair due to the flex in the bumper there! Hence the need for a bumper in good nick!
  5. Crikey, just realised how big the pics are! Sorry! Forgot to say, I took the Blitz badge off too. I didn't realise they were individual letters, so have been playing anagrams with them! Forgot to delete my numberplate as well. Oh well. Oh yeah, I got a new numberplate as well!
  6. Just a few pics showing what the car was like when I bought it & what it looks like now. I've taken off the plastic numberplate surrounds & the roof spoiler. I think it looks much better now. I've got bodyshop doing some bits in a week or so, including... New bumper (without foglight cut in) Rear foglight conversion Clear lense conversion Light unit sprayed silver inside (see Raystheroof pics) Rear wiper base removed / repaired Rear wiper sprayer removed / repaired Aerial removed / repaired Toyota & Supra badges removed / repaired Roof spoiler area repaired The hatch has been sprayed before when the old wing was taken off and filled, so the badges are starting to look a bit tacky from where they were taped. The wiper & aerial wont work because of the spoiler so I'm getting them bits off & everything cleaned up. I've got other bits & bobs to do, but this is the rear end for now! I'll post some more pics when I've got a few more bits done
  7. It's a Supra! Of course it is What's that front bumper? Can't really see much of it, but not sure I like it. Looks very clean and shiney!
  8. I don't - That's why I was asking as I want to take mine off. Will be a job for once my spare dash has been painted silver (12th May hopefully)
  9. I thought they had loads of options...I guess the luxury of walnut was one of them!?
  10. I've been there loads of times - it's great fun! The more the merrier as well as the track is quite wide and there's a lot of straights. I prefer the Gosport one as a) it's opposite my house & b) there's more twisties to overtake on The karts are pretty nippy. It tells you in the video what CC they are but I can't remember. Some of the car parks in Southampton have tickets which have half-price karting on the backs of them. Will save you £12-£15 or whatever. Not sure if you can use them for group things though.

    Wahey!

1000 posts! Do I get a badge? Some of the more astute members on here may have noticed my increased amount of simpleton questions lately, for which I can only apologise. I'll get there one day! Here's to the next 1000 - cheers!
  12. Check the date at the start - this is an old thread my friend! I got a great TT in the end, still loving every minute of it!
  13. I know, I know I'm pretty sure some people like it though. Have just bought a spare dash to get sprayed silver, so when I take mine off I guess I'll have the original dash underneath (albeit needing a little TLC) & the walnut pieces if they do indeed come off in one piece! Were the UK walnut ones full dash pieces, or stick ons as well?
  14. Looks excellent! Bale is a hero!
  15. No, definitely 8.30 ish as I was following my girlfriend to the garage for 8.30 & was running slightly late!
  16. Is it a trick?! Are they all men?
  17. I saw that on the news earlier & thought it was a bit strange! In that photo, can you see the 30mph limit sign?! What's the bet they were going 'slightly' faster than that...
  18. I haven't got my Supra here today, so I can't check, but... Is the walnut dash simply another set of dash pieces that are stuck onto the existing black dash? If so, could you take the walnut part off & re-furbish / paint the black part underneath? Or....am I imagining things & it's exactly the same as the black one in that it lifts off as full units & there is nothing underneath? Can anyone check, or has anyone taken theirs off? Thanks
  19. Thanks guys. I'll check out their websites & see what they offer.
  20. Yeah - they're the ones. The diagram means nothing to me, but my brother did an electrician apprenticeship. I know they're not the same as autoelectrician, but pretty sure he'll know what he's doing.
  21. The garage now has my car doing a few bits, but I told them not to bother with the fog light, as I spoke to my brother & he seems to think he'll be able to do it no problem. (famous last words!)
  22. Hmmm, I'm pretty sure they quoted £85 when I spoke yesterday!! I could never do electrics and stuff so I might have to go ahead with it.
  23. I don't even remember writing half this stuff, shows how good my memory is! Guess, the other 10% was the stronger! It was no fun working away all summer driving a Mondeo, knowing I had a lush car sitting at home getting dusty Oh yeah, it must have been the car as I didn't get any stares, whistles etc in the Mondeo, but plenty in the new Supe! Oh well - memories, memories......
  24. I think you're right about the red blob in the reserve light, I'd much prefer them to be incorporated into the brake lights, especially as I hardly ever have the fog lights on anyway!
