Why would they visit for that? Surely it must be something unrelated? Or like you said, they need the extra cash...which is a lot easier than some of the 'real crime' prevention or response they could be doing.

I think I read somewhere that the LED wont get through MOT or something? I have tints, so the more light when reversing the better! Saying that, I'm not entirely sure that having them wired into the lights is strictly legal for the MOT. I think there's a spacing issue (too close to the other lights or something!?) but I can't remember if anyone had ever been failed for this. When the foglights are on, and you brake - the 2 outer brake lights brighten up as normal (the inner foglights are permanently bright) plus, if you've got a J-Spec, the LED strip lights up too!

I'm getting the kit from Emin on here (I hope!), it basicly converts the two inside (or outside) brake lights to be permanently on when you flick the foglight switch on. When it's off, they work as normal. (I think) ie all four on, and brighter when you brake. I thought about the reversing light, but when you reverse supposedly only one comes on because of the fog light being in there. Also, I didn't want to put a red bulb in the clear lense. Oh yeah, I had to paint the indicator bulbs, because I couldn't find anywhere that sold the correct ones - anyone else have to do this, or did you find the right bulb somewhere? It still looks great, and gives a really bright "indicate"

Quick update - Ended up doing the clear lense conversion myself, and spraying the insides silver. Still waiting for my foglight kit to arrive, and still after a silver bumper! Oh yeah, haven't done the spoiler poll yet! So no more ribbing (for now!)

I haven't had the foglight conversion yet (still waiting for the bits to turn up ) All the brake lights are working. I went out earlier and swapped the bulbs around so they match up on either side, so I guess there must be one broken filament out of two of the bulbs. Bit strange that they're suddenly breaking so easily! Are they quite fragile? Don't see why the normal filament would break, but not the brake filament. I'll buy two more from Halfrauds tomorrow & hopefully will all be sorted out

I thought so, they were all working fine until last night when one was out, (although the brake lights was still working for it) but now only 2 are working, but the brakes are! Strange eh!? Any ideas what's happened/happening?

I'm confused! Am I right in thinking that driving around with the lights on, the four rear reds are always on, then when you brake 2 (outside 2?) go brighter? Last night 3 of mine were on permanently, but when breaking the one that wasn't working still lit up when I braked. I went to check the bulb today (it has 2 filaments) & that seems fine. I but it back in, and now only 2 are permanently lit when the lights are on!! (different red on each side) I haven't touched any wiring, and the indicator lights work fine Is there some sort of relay I should be checking? What should the combination be? Anyone had a similar problem? I can't understand why the combination would change (& no I haven't put the wrong bulbs in! ) Help me! I want to drive tonight!

Psychologically maybe? (I don't know either!) I have D6 EWS, as it sort of looks like DREWS (my second name is Drew) Was cheap as well. I was looking at buying a Supra one, but realised I wouldn't have a Supra for ever!

I got mine done by fancyplates a couple of weeks ago & it covers the whole lot. Although the website said they only went up to a certain size, I put in a larger measurement and it came out fine.

Is there anyway of making the text smaller than it is? Mine's down to 1, but I'd still like to get it smaller than the actual writing in the message

the aerial must be about 6 foot long! That's an incredible trick of light to make a think line like that disappear as well!

Noooooooooooo, just as I was writing the reply you got it!

It's been bugging me since 3.45 this morning, so...... Look at the rear bumper on the right hand side. There's a join between the bumper and body that just disappears! Also, have a good look at the aerial - should it be that big!? It goes off the screen! Is this some crazy trick of the light, or a blatant photoshop? (sorry if it's an anti-climax )
