  1. Gutted - sorry to hear about this Jake. My bird said she saw a white Supra just before the Fareham turn off last night around 9pm, said the bonnet was up but the police car was a normal one (not unmarked). If it was you, she said you didn't look happy! She said there was no smoke, so I guess it was long after you pulled over. I was down there that way myself a little before that. Suprised I wasn't the one on the side of the road with the speed I was going against that Skyline! Hope it turns out reasonably cheap mate.
  2. That Keisa video is awesome! Would be good to see some footage from outside the car though. Is/was that his own personal car? Does anyone know what kind of power it's putting down?
  3. Should have run the skivs down!
  4. Hmmm, someone better double check, but.... 1. 2. 3. Shinobi 4. Streets of Rage 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. R - Type 10. 11. 12. Outrun 13. Altered Beast 14. 15.
  5. Do you mean you're going down early? Anyone else from the M27 way going? Preferably someone who knows the way
  6. Aren't there guidelines for working conditions? I'm pretty sure that employers have to supply heating if the workplace is to cold - thought it might be a similar story if it's too hot. Get a fan on your desk or where you work, it'll be the same air but it still cools you down.
  7. Sounds like great fun, and some excellent photos! Have to get down to this event next time! Big question is - was the Countach as quick as the Supe!?
  8. I normally get quite a lot around here, but lately it's been OK to be honest. I bought one of those 'zappers' for inside which makes a satisfying snap, crackle or pop everytime one gets snuffed! It makes scratching those itches a little easier to bare!
  9. Probably just some happy go lucky chap! I had loads of random people wave at me yesterday!
  10. Me too, where is that company based? Hopefully not too far away. What exactly is the intensive? A long day there? I suppose the standard would be two short days. If it was quite far away I'd rather do the intensive.
  11. Sounds good to me. Do we get to use our own cars?
  12. As discussed earlier, the car's scary enough as it is for me without more sideways fun! Was out tonight for a quick spin and loved every minute of it! Sounds like I haven't been bumped which is good! Fox - did yours break as well then? Sounds like it's quite unfortunate for it to happen. Did they give you a cause?
  13. I'm irate about some of the morons on the road. My daily favourite is... I live on the A32, and it's quite busy getting out of the drive. I pull out really slowly so I can see the road (fences either side). Although it's a 40, it's normally quite busy so traffic crawls past. I've sat there before for around 5 minutes as people go past - just staring at you trying to get out. They approach slowly, and when they see you edging out slowly they speed up!! The amount of times I've sat there while someone floors it, then slams their brakes on right in front of me to stop from going into the car in front. Of course, they're blocking me from going anywhere, but hey - they haven't lost THEIR space. A lot of them turn their head sideways to look like they've achieved something, or they're totally oblivious to the fact their f*ck*ng pr*cks This happens every day. BTW - I know what you mean about merging (ie one car from each lane merging 1,2,1,2 etc, keeping it smooth) the amount of times I've done it right, indicating, leaving plenty of time and space & some pleb has floored it almost into the back of the car in front just to not let you in. When someone does something like this DON'T give them the finger, it's just an expression of anger - clap your hands together as if to say "well done - you are indeed a twat & can't drive for shit" it's much more patronising & even makes me laugh when you see them sitting there knowing what a fool they've been. Rant over (Thanks for listening! )
  14. Back on the road as of today! God, I forgot how much fun my car was! :) Garage sourced a second-hand diff, with labour came to about £650. Supposedly they're £1200 new and 8 weeks from Japan. Having no comparison price, I went ahead. Probably would have been cheaper getting parts from someone on here, or from the scrappies but wanted it done ASAP & would need a mechanic to know what bits were needed etc anyway! Garage reckon it was just bad luck it had failed. They said they can be messed up putting on full power, whilst being on full lock, but only thing that would do that is doing a donut so be careful all you lunatics! They also said they've never known a diff to fail on a supra, and AFAIK they've worked on a few down there. Anyway...I'm going to go for a blast in an hour or so when the road's nice and clear! (even though I can't afford the petrol! )
  15. Now I know why! What should you be getting? Based on similar spec'd cars?
  16. 13.08 doesn't sound bad to me - what mods do you have?
  17. This is great! Best thing that's happened to F1 in years! (apart from the people who have paid to go and watch!)
  18. I rather foolishly let my tax, MOT and insurance run out while I was doing my coursework and exams - job for Monday is to get it back on the road! Exactly what I was looking for! I've already given him another one now though, so will save that for next year!
  19. Nearest is about 20 minute walk there, and I'm feeling rough! I don't think they even sell them anyway. Just tried the google search, should be something on there (there's loads!) I forgot to put 'to print' on so was getting loads of e-cards
  20. Does anyone know somewhere I can print out a card!? I have no transport so couldn't make it to the shops yesterday (& I'm lazy too!) I've done a search, but keep getting e-cards
  21. Sounds like a bit of a horror story. Hope things get sorted amicably.
  22. I'll have to be carefull you don't steam past me on the M27 then!
