  2. I bought this supra with these skirts and it looks like they are on either with doublesided tape or proper glue as there are no bolts anywhere. To be honest fits super well for fiberglass skirts

  7. Mike had this car for couple of days at SRD. Fixed loads of little issues but we couldnt find this misfire. We have been trying to figure this out since day one now Big thanks to Mike!
  8. Hi All, 2jz non vvti NA-T I thought I will open a thread in case someone had a similar issue.. as after months of looking still no luck. Below I have attached a graph from EcuMaster log. 2nd gear looks pretty clean, but once I change to 3rd it start to misfire straight away, 2nd and 3rd gear both in same boost 175kpa mark. I dont get any misfire below 10psi of boost. Parts I have changed: Injectors - 715cc bosch ev14 Coilpacks - yaris smart coils Fuel Pump - walbro 450lph + Relay mod Spark Plugs - bkr7eix and bkr8eix Fuel Dampener Removed BC valve springs and bsc stem seals On high boost ECU and engine is not loosing any voltage or fuel pressure. Compression on all 6 cylinders is good. Things like changing dwell time, gapping spark plugs, changing map and etc have been tried. It kind a feels like it is more mechanical than electrical issue, engine get higher load in 3rd gear and starts to misfire? but what could cause that Any suggestions welcome! Thanks, Ed
  9. I have been reading a lot that some manufacturers angle their aftermarket manifolds poorly which results in relocation. With GTE FFIM, GTE IACV is plug and play fit, not sure regarding mk3 IACV. I am running tripod w58 with a01b torsen.
  10. TT FFIM wont work. Heads are different. Here is what i have done. GE lower runners welded to GTE intake, GTE cam covers, GTE PS banjo with PS tank, GTE FMIC setup. You also need GTE IACV as GE uses IAC. You can get aftermarket FFIM for GE but that would involve relocating fuse box and battery.

  12. Thanks Mike. I have already bypassed the resistor in the cluster. Just wasn't sure with the pining of tacho signal.
  13. Hi All, I am currently wiring my 2jz non vvti with ecumaster classic. As it is na-t, I am getting rid of distributor and doing smart coil conversion. With smart coils igniter is not in use and its getting deleted. Where do I pin tachometer signal from? On ecumaster there is a pin 20 on grey plug - aux 4/ tacho. Do I pin this to body loom that sends signal to cluster? Thanks, Ed
  14. Guys, stupid mistake that took me whole day to figure out. GE reservoir is held by 2 bolts on the back of the ps pump. I have undone them and left it as is, as I thought threads are just casted in to the back of ps pump to hold reservoir. I was wrong.. those threads are not casted, it actual holds the back casing of ps pump as well and by not having those 2 bolts I have created massive pressure leak

  16. Hi All, Something that i have never experienced before. I got na-t and have upgraded to ffim which have required external PS reservoir. I have bough oem gte reservoir, cap, all the lines and Banjo fitting that bolts on the PS pump. And the issue is once I top up the fluid it just pisses everything out. Like the pressure is crazy, if the engine is started and you open the cap it makes a fountain 30-40cm high. I have tried lifting the front, getting rid if all the air pockets engine off and on, i have tried undoing rack lines and letting the gravity do the work, but nothing seemed to help. Any help appreciated.
