Thanks David P whilst is was looking for the ECU as i thought it was behind the dash ? now know where it is LOL, anyway i must of disturbed something behind the dash (ie wiring) because the problems have stopped, so i am going to take your advise and going back in behind the dash and sort the problem and try and locate a uk spec speedo. Many thanks for your advice (what a great club this is) Thanks Kevin.

thanks very much, I will give that ago. had a look at the dash and that has been off some screws missing so will start there.

yes David P I think this maybe the problem, is there anyone fairly local I can pay to sort out the problem as I am not able to do it myself. I don't work so am free all-day to go to them.
