  1. no problem It would be good to get Mig & a few of the boys out for a giggle
  2. Hi dan, Slightly slower & smoother spool on the boostlogic manifold with a 3'' downpipe. completely different exhaust note too.
  3. Pussy, wait until the Big '50' & your youngest has just bought a Supra. Now that's when you really start to feel it:innocent:
  4. I know JB gets very nervous with strange noises[GRIN][/GRIN]
  5. Hi JB, don't want to alarm you but, when my 1st engine did it's no.5 main bearing, it started off sounding like a faint tapping.....everyone, e.g Leon & a few others thought tappets at first....& you know what happened soon after that. I've heard of a couple of VVti's doing no.5 in, mine not included.
  6. T61 with .68, the spool was mental:d there's quite a bit of difference from the boostlogic manifold. Maybe at some stage I might look into geting the old cast manifold sorted & try it out. I've still got all the bits so not too big of a job I suppose. It will be very interesting how yours turns out
  7. Hi Dan, I've stiil got a manifold like that & all the associated kit sitting in my garage. spool was very quick, could even be described as savage, but was seeing boost spikes of 1.8 bar.... didn't bother trying to increase the port size, Just went tubular instead. John
  8. Bugger[sAD][/sAD] Dustys' just emailed saying there's a delay from Precision.....it was supposed to be in stock. Must be a big demand for these.......not a happy camper now
  9. I've seen them (TD autoworks) but was a bit dubious being a ebay company, although I did ask some questions & the chap appeared to be interested in group buys. Mine through MVP is around £740 to include getting the cover polished & shipping john edit for a bb it is about $600 more...... not worth it for a couple of hundred RPM spool IMO
  10. Mine is through Dusty at MVP, luckily they had the 6262 in stock:) still be a 3 week wait for it
  11. I wanted as near as possible the same spool as the T61 (stock VVTi cams-full boost by 3600 revs) but it should have the power of a T67, especially as my setup with the F-Con v pro seems quite able to handle 1.6-1.7 bar happily on 99 ron.
  12. I hope to have my sc6262 -.68 housing delivered next week, should be better than my T61 I'll let you know how it goes john
  13. 'are non vvti and vvti first decats same?'...... no, they are not the same. you can get VVTi decat pipes from Chris wilson
  14. Whereabouts are you, GVN is only at chiswick 1/2 hr or so drive from me at Elstree/ Borhamwood
  15. have a look on here http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q_J_1993_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80.html
  16. Hi, I;m putting these up on behalf on my Son Peter........he's had a change of mind on gauges for his GTO They are brand new gauges all boxed up and have not been fitted, these are the 60mm white faced versions, Peter has; x1 Boost pressure @ £100 x1 Oil Pressure with peak/hold@ £170 x2 temp with peak/hold@ £140 each At these prices they are less than you would pay from Blitz UK (fensport) even if you was excluding the VAT!! check out the prices here; http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-176.aspx Peter does'nt want to split the gauges unless all the gauges go. Please p.m me & i'll pass on to Peter regards John
  17. For anyone into Italian fine Dining, try Latium in Berners street, very high quality restaurant
  18. the next thread will be...................... why has it gone
  19. I have one of the Arcan (Costco) ones. with a 1 inch plank, it gets under mine no problems ( very low at the front). As previously stated, has great lift hight. for the price it's very good
  20. That's the Celica supra body insn't it?. I had one with the 2.8i.....great car
  21. managed to get the afternoon off, so I hit the spanners, Straight turbo failure, exhaust wheel had come apart from the cartridge....due to wear..who knows. There wasn't any debris in the cartridge oil chamber. Compressor side is perfect, still spins nice & smooth with no play. ho hum, still deciding what to replace it with. edit, damage was from bouncing around the exhaust housing
  22. Thanks JB, if I can make it I'll phone you by 5p.m. Bloody work[ANGRY][/ANGRY]
  23. it would help to use the facelift / clear indicators too;) the 'orange blobs' don't work with silver
