Done. I can tell CJ was highly thought of around here and this is a very good cause. I know I'm new around here but a few years ago he bought some MR2 parts off me from MR2OC, he was a thoroughly nice guy to deal with.

That is absolutely stunning. Most of the JGTC/Super GT Supras had that style of headlights. But most of the cars were like the American stock cars - resembling the road versions mainly just in looks. Scott just another question about the chrome rings, have you ever thought about doing some LED angel eye type mod, if at all possible?

Daily driver. Only car I have space for and wouldn't want to have it being sat outside not being used. Need to get it undersealed before we get blitzed with snow though.

They look really good Scott. Do the chrome surrounds of the running lights need to be left chrome, or can they be sprayed black too?

I'm no expert on tax and what you have there seems a little complex but what I would say is that quite a few friends have done serious work on some jap cars recently and all bought from the US and saved a fortune. Definitely seems the way to go for the bigger more expensive parts.

Nice bit of diy mate. Where would I find a supra boot blind - new from toyota? Can't seem to find one on ebay on gumtree etc.

I'll be probably be getting the Xbox One when prices drop around the new year. I've been an Xbox guy since the first console and will continue to be so purely because for me the 'console exclusive' games are far better on Xbox, the online interface on the Xbox is far better and most of the guys I play Battlefield with online will be sticking with Xbox too. Both are too expensive though and both will have faults, don't believe all the media hype though, most of the initial problems people had with Xbox have been or will be addressed by launch.

Can you affect the light output by spraying the insides black? I thought that would have an affect on the reflectors?

Silver car so maybe black lights? Can't seem to find the guide on here though don't suppose anyone has a quick link - ignore, found it on the mkiv american website. Seems a pretty easy job so I'll have a go at some point and get some updates going. Cheers.

Thanks guys, appreciate the advice. Now I'm on the laptop I'll have a read of the Supra star article. The facelift/UK ones seem a tad expensive for my budget to be honest, so I reckon a DIY refurb (something I'd enjoy more anyway) is going to be the way to go.

How would I go about painting them? I guess I'll have a good look at the guide tomorrow. Sounds like a bit of a job! I was tempted to wrap them slightly darker but as they are already an advisory on the mot I doubt I'd be doing myself any favours.

I'd like to either replace or modernise my Jspec headlights as the yellowy tint is the only thing really spoiling the look of the car at the minute. I did come across the thread where a chap was making some but that seems to have stopped, so is my only option to either keep on the lookout for some UK headlights or is there a how-to on modernising the Jspec ones? Cheers.
