  1. I’m aiming for 600+ So between 6-800 would be nice, Risky I know at the higher end.... but won’t be thrashing it constantly.
  2. Hi everyone, I’m just about to start the single turbo conversion on my 1997 white tt6 facelift switchover (non VVTI). What I’m fitting: HKS t04z hybrid single turbo, HKS T4 exhaust manifold, HKS GT wastegate, HKS 3.5” downpipe, Custom screamer pipe (currently to side exit, may plumb back into exhaust) Sard 800cc drop in side feed injectors, Apexi power fc ecu with hand commander, Apexi 3 bar map sensor, Walbro 450 fuel pump, spec 3+ clutch. What’s already fitted: large front mount intercooler (need to measure size, bov (unsure of make, not sequential), boost controller (unsure of make, will update), turbo timer (unsure of make, will update) uk brakes freshly rebuilt, 2 piece enkei 19” split rims Yokohama 285 rears and 235 fronts (25mm spacers on fronts), drag spec titanium 4” exhaust cat back system, Double de-cat, Large ally rad. Once all fitted, the plan is to take it to Paul whiffin, hopefully early next year for mapping. Is there anything that’s missing? I will update with things I would like to question as I go along and may start a build thread if I have time. A few things I would like to question first off: Anything else Roth doing while the stock twins are off (decluttering anything)? Fuel pulsation dampener bypass, a good idea? Is it worth replacing the thermostat when the twins are off as it’s easier then? Is everything there to feed from in the sense that the turbo is also water cooled? Does anything need modifying that I can do/but prior to starting the build? Link I would like if anyone has them: Removal of the stock twins? Single turbo conversion step by step/ guide? I have researched a lot, but it seems as a lot of the guides are around 10 years old now and most links from threads have been removed and/or the dreaded Photobucket scandal has removed vital images from guides! Any help, input is appreciated /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif
  3. Now purchased a spec atage 3+ clutch. Thanks for posting
  4. Tried looking for specifications on the 3+ to see what they come with unused meat wise... any ideas?
  5. Is this for v160? If so can you measure with digital vernier callipers how much meat if left on it please?
  6. About ready to fit my hks big single turbo conversion, Will be splitting gearbox away soon to check condition and whether an updated clutch is currently fitted, Putting feelers our for a suitable clutch for a top figure of 800 but more realistically 650-700bhp with equivalent torque numbers. What have people got? Jay.
  7. How much for the ARB’s? Could be interested in the front rad hose and water neck too. Thanks, Jay
  8. Gaz, I’m agreeing with you for sure, but just wondered if there is anyone closer by that also comes highly recommended? Ideally (as everyone does) looking to keep costs down, and the added cost of having the car transported to a long distance mapper would be something I’d rather not have to add to the growing list of overall expenses with the build. Hi Paul, I’ve not yet bought an ecu, injectors or pump for the time being as I know mappers like to recommend dependant on their capablilites and experience. I don’t think im ready to bite the bullet quite yet and go syveccs for the dread of the amount that would come out of my bank account. I’ve heard good things about the link ecu’s... but these are things I’ll have to discuss with a mapper once I’ve settled on one
  9. Needing advice: About to fit my HKS T04Z single turbo kit, What options do I have mapping wise near Plymouth? Does anyone have any good experience with mapping in the southwest? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and get up to SRD or Whifbitz? TIA
  10. Any pictures of how it sits on the car?
  11. Cracking price. These will be sold today no problem
  12. 1994 Toyota Supra mk4 Na manual (w58) from factory Silver (paint is not great) Has a mix of miles and km 130,000km and 30,000 miles So works out at 110,000 miles overall Will come with a fresh MOT modifications: Veilside sideskirts (not in the best condition) Induction kit Custom made stainless steel cat back system (sounds pretty good to be fair) 18" Rota alloy wheels (could do with refurb) Notes: Drivers sideskirt has a chunk missing by front wheel. The suspension looks standard oem but the car sits VERY low, maybe had a spring change. Doesn't knock or make any untoward noises. Light surface rust coming through on rear arch lips, nothing that's not easily repaired and can't be seen side on. This car drives spot on and did a 600+ mile trip back from Scotland recently with no issues whatsoever. Price is £5,500 ovno. Located in Plymouth. Thanks for looking. Pro
  13. How much do these cost to be posted uk mainland?
  14. I will be shortly, just need to put it through an MOT. 1994 silver Na w58 5 speed manual Standard apart from veilside skirts (bad condition) alloy wheels, induction kit and stainless cat back. Has done 130,000 km with an added 30,000 miles so a total of 110,000 miles. Pm me if your interested.
  15. I've been looking at this for a while now... will speak to the financial department (better half)
  16. Do the tt ones let off a party popper when it ticks over 999999?
  17. Selling my as new/amazing condition UK spec brake setup. Front and rear callipers have been completely overhauled. I stripped these back completely to bare metal and VHT primered followed by multiple layers of Hammerite smooth white gloss (also VHT). I added the usual heatproof supra decals after painting. I intended to rebuild all 4 callipers whilst carrying out the overhaul and bought the kits to do so (now taken back) however upon inspection these have stainless pistons already in place, I take it they had been rebuild previously, and all worked flawlessly before removal with no leaks or uneven braking pattern, so I left them in their perfect working condition. All pins, pad backing plates, centralising shims and retainers were stripped and acetone cleaned before rebuilding. I was more than happy with the finish after painting, probably the cleanest UK setup I have seen beside a new setup (which would still be unpainted I believe) They come with HEL stainless braided fitting kit (new) with purple coloured sheathing. Fastener ends are also stainless. They come with a full set of: 323mm MTECH drilled, grooved and vented front brake discs. 324mm MTECH drilled, grooved and vented rear brake discs. MTECH uprated brake pads all round. All these items have been fitted to my car for less than 50 miles. So are virtually brand new still! They are currently fitted to my supra so can be shown working and I welcome anyone to come and look over them. Whifbitz current special prices on these are: Front uk setup (standard discs and pads) without stainless lines £970.44 Rear uk setup (standard discs and pads) Without stainless lines £883.84 Making a total of £1854.28, that's without uprated discs and pads and unpainted/protected. I would like to see £1,300 and think that's a fair price considering what you get. I think I've covered everything, any questions please feel free to ask. Located in Plymouth, I'm more than happy to post also. Thanks, Jay
  18. I'll take one of these. Pm me paypal details please
