That's the one mine caught fire on then. Mine made 522bhp and 670Nm (495 ft-lbs) with just a PHR Stage 1 at 1.4bar on the same Dyno. (Although I do have cams and a Motec m600, dunno if that makes a difference)

Nooo! Was the tool flat against the face of the pulley? Those bolts should bend a fair bit before they snap. Must be on there hella tight! No, just regular m8 bolts. I used the same ones (from the same box anyway) on two different Supras just fine. Starter motor it is then Darryl. Make sure your battery is fully charged to give you full torque. Be careful mate.

Do cams make that much difference? My PHR Stage One made more power and torque at 1.4bar than kslb's Stage 2+ at 1.5 bar. kslb, Where is it being mapped? Could just be down to different Dynos.

I also saw DH4 last night and yes it is rather silly and implausible. It's good fun though and McClane is as entertaining as ever. He didn't seem to have so many wisecracks in this one but when he eventually did manage a yippeekiyay it was quite amusing. The film has too much CGI for my tastes and as Pete says the "isn't it amazing what they can do with IT nowadays" was silly but for entertainment value it was great. I'm a huge fan of the original DH flick so maybe I more forgiving than I would have been otherwise. My favorite quote for DH4 is John's telling a badguy that his girlfriend is "at the bottom of an elevator shaft with an SUV up her ass"

Because the Jspec wastegate is smaller than the UK's one. Unless the JSpec WG has also been modified I shouldn't think it'll cope any better than they do on stock J ones.
