  1. Between 460rwhp and 520rwhp on pump fuel at 18psi. (Europe numbers ) Depends on supporting mods...

    Wheels

I would serious rethink getting Rotas.... A local member just shattered one of these cast wheels. Better of with stock wheels imo.
  3. Search here for more info http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?558091-Wheel-Tire-Size-Offset-Thread-Search-here!/page63
  4. You must have a crazy widebody then. No way these will work with a stock body supra or TRD widebody for that matter Worst advice ever... Just buy proper fitting wheels. Look at Peter Blach his old supras, perfect fitment. dr_jekyll: 11 inch with a +20 offset will not work without looking plain stupid. 9.5 with a +35 for the front and a 11.5 +48 in the back will be flush with the fenders. Low +40 for a 11 inch wheel. In both cases you'll have to roll or cut the rear fenders a bit (cutting has my preferences).
  5. Only the CCW Classics (front) with stock TT brakes require a spacer. BKK will fit fine, because of the smaller calipers. All the other CCW wheels don't require a spacer as far as I know. However, there is no excuse to use spacers with custom wheels! TheTurtleshead, those D110 look awesome!
  6. Steve.m, TT (big) brakes or UK brakes as most members on this forum call them, fit behind the 17'' classics
  7. JP do you have an overlay dynograph from the 7175 and 7675? If I recall correct you were on stock compression (8.5) right? Would love to see the spool and poweroutput on both of these turbos using pumpgas. It's the first time I heard that a 7175 spools slower than the 7675. Any other changes with your setup when you swapped turbos? Luxluc, I would wait for the results of the 6870, that turbo must be insane
  8. Hi Nic, I agree with you that it isn't going to be easy to achieve those numbers, you'll need larger injectors that's correct. With the 440cc injectors you are very limited with the power potential from these turbos. However several people have proven it's possible, even in Europe. 482rwhp at 18 psi on pumpgas and an AEM V1 (jup in Europe). Not really basic with a standalone, but it's not rocketscience either. To get the most out of these twins, you'll need everything a decent single conversion needs. It's not the best bang for buck if you catch my drift. It's just an internet myth that the American dyno's read higher. You have to keep in mind that the American use racegas most of the time. Even in Europe there are 400 rwhp bpu supras, it's not impossible at all. The bpu supras in the US dyno between 370-400rwhp on pump, everything higher it's very likely they are using racegas. Amir from this forum actually dyno'd in the US and the UK and the differences was minimal. Btw the trapspeed from the Yanks back up their numbers. Edit: missed Biebers last post. A good set of tyres, racegas and a prepped track will do wonders for the 1/4 mile times. However the trapspeed is a good power indicator.
  9. Firin, check the australian supraforums. I'm pretty sure there are several people running these in the 500 range. I remember one guy making +/- 540hp at 20 psi on pumpgas. Personally I would go with the Stu Hagen gt28r twins (if you want the stock appearance), these are the most proven stock looking twins on the market and will break into the 460-500rwhp on pumpgas and basic bpu mods (stock block, head and US-cams). There is a huge thread about them on supraforums.com Edit: I'm not sure if the BNR gt28r's are available for jspec turbos.
  10. Chris, reading back what I initially wrote, I will have to apologize for my tone. I didn't mean it that way However I truly believe that the Syvecs didn't save the autobox, but the tune did. If it was an AEM or whatever ecu tuned with lower torque for the box, it will be the same.
  11. Agreed. I've been a long time reader on this forum, however I've been an active member on supraforums.com for years. I won't go as far as fanboys, but over here there are a lot of people repeating others. Craig just check SF for much more experience with budget setups. There are plenty of builds over there which have proven themself for years, ran 9s or at the roadcourse and still running fine. And Chris, saying the Syvecs saved your autobox is the biggest bs I've have read in a long time. No one is doubting the capabilities of the Syvecs ecu, but in the end it's all in the tune. If you blow up an autobox with an AEM or any ecu you just went too far pushing it's limits.
  12. I have to agree with RobertG, especially on the Syvecs part. It's a great ecu no doubt, however most people on this forum don't even need a Syvecs or a similar ecu. A good piggyback or AEM v2 will be fine imo. Just get it tuned correctly by a reliable tuner. Good luck Craig! Ps: Craig check supraforums.com. Much more experience with ''basic'' ecu/piggyback setups, which have been proven for years. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?710866-Standalone-or-Piggyback-for-daily-reliability
  13. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?335026-Post-pics-of-CCW-Classics-on-your-dawg/page31 17 inch classics all around.
  14. There are several people who made over 500rwhp with these twins, Stu even made well over 600rwhp on E85. This is the most proven hybrid kit imo, as it's been around for years with great results. I'm very interested how Paul's kit will perform though.
  15. Curt is the man! I've never found a better dealer for genuine Toyota parts. He is cheaper (shipping incl.) and faster than any of the Toyota dealers near me (Netherlands, Germany, UK or Belgium). And we all know shipping from the States is expensive!
