  1. Afaik you cant adjust a lamp for lhd, it either is or it isnt. Likelyhood is youve bought a set of eurospec glass lhd lamps, not uk rhd lamps. No amount of adjusting will make lhd lamps be rhd
  2. Obviously they will be different as the NA will run a much higher CR
  3. if its all stock, the Lambda Probe could be goosed, that would cause a massive overfuel if the car has no idea how much fuel its using? Also a dirty maf? Easily sorted with a spray of brake cleaner round the element in the maf, obvious one is boost leak especially if it is on a MAF, and all stock, intercoooler may have had it and be cracked in a non obvious way. Could benefit from a pressure test, I like to use tuna tins for IC pipework block offs
  4. Lol well it makes sense "hey guys need your help"..........."actually never mind, guna carry on regardless"
  5. Usually if there is a problem and you choose to give it a "quick blast" anyway, that will exacerbate the problem as opposed to solving it...... I don't think I've ever read in any repair manual the option "If x problem exists, give it the shoe and it will be fine"......
  6. Ill go get it for you for a fee! Love the car retrieval trips!
  7. Ok, fair enough and you are entitled to your opinion, I was just stating what I was told by a team that is running a 1000bhp+ drift car and build engines for people up and down the country. Be interested in how you have disproved this theory though?
  8. Afaik you have to remove the factor breathers and weld in the AN fittings and do the hoses etc. That was a very useful piece if advice given to me by Mark Luney of SATS Cosworth in regards to my own car when i fitted the BL S366HF. Those guys really know their stuff!
  9. Its to do with the crankcase pressure on a big single. The stock breathing system is inadequate to deal with that pressure. You need to modify the stock breathers with -AN fittings and hoses into a catch can to breath the crankcase sufficiently. Its blowing the seal out
  10. Its to do with the speed sensor fault. The AIT fault is due to the car seeing load there and no corresponding speed to match it. Fix the speed sensor error and they rest will fix itself. Why would you ever drive about with a speed sensor error anyway. Affects everything!!
  11. Edit: sorry a quick check in the garage shows me these are stamped SPAL. First post edited. Perhaos a mod could change the title?
  12. I was near sure they were i have an invoice from whifbitz in my file (not originally my file) that says twin fan kit.....
  13. Had a Re-think about my setup and am going to go with stock viscous fan setup so these are for sale Edit: these are twin SPAL fans and controller! £90 + postage
  14. could you not remove the factory actuator system entirely and then attach two adjustable actuators (say HKS) to each turbo and run them both as two independant turbos? That should allow you to control the boost effectively, whilst simplifying the system, assuming each turbo is a std internally gated setup?
  15. AFAIK, Toyota flush all their engines from new but I think its one of those things thats always done or never done, i.e if the car has not had it done since Toyota were looking after it then don't start doing it otherwise you'll fall foul of the same nasty effects as described above.
  16. it actually sounds a bit like when I had a blow in the manifold gasket at the turbo. Doesn't really sound like a mechanical knock as such. Sounds like a diesel which usually means a gasket leak
