    Turbo Dilema

You know you can do the valve stem seals with the head on don't you?
  2. Nice parts list ! Id be wary of the titan oil pump though. Have been told by a well known builder the titan oil pumps are just oem pumps machined wider for a bigger gear but it significantly weakens the housing. This particular builder had a titan oil pump gear exit through the bonnet Once upon a time. Id go OEM standard on the pump

    Wheel setup

All relative though, exchange rates dont dictate the prices in domestic currency

    Wheel setup

Arch rolling is a fairly straight forward process to be honest but surely a local shop would have the means to do so correctly? Even if you were to go for silly wide wheels that required the cutting or extension of arches, to redo and fix 2 quarters shouldn't really cost that much realistically assuming paint shops in the states have similar cost bases to ones here - apologies, Canada

    Wheel setup

You would spend 3 grand on wheels but don't have the budget to roll or flare two arches......
  6. If im not mistaken that car is Mark Luneys old car, absolutely immaculate fantastic buy dude. Health to drive!
  7. As far as I have been told by Mark, all Link prices from Dealers should be the same unless they are running a sanctioned group buy or discount period backed by Link themselves
  8. Yea i know i do. But i dont audit or give financial advice. Hes not even close to what i do. The point is that him coming off with statements about me being a petulant child are completely ridiculous and he knows nothing about me to be making statements like that. No offence to you Jim
  9. lol....case in point, you have no idea at all....not even close
  10. Well actually all I have been doing is trying to assist you but you don't seem to take anyones advice on board. And that OEM ecu overwriting a piggy back is nonsense btw, I would have thought you would have copped that yourself. And if you read back you have been giving off about what it would cost you so don't now try and advocate that money is no issue for the right ECU. I would also advise you to check who you are dealing with and what I actually do before you make points about who or what I am. I am not really concerned about what you are asking but as I had the knowledge I thought I would try and help, I'll not bother in future. Good luck with your trusted advisers
  11. Lol you literally do not listen to anything anyone tells you when you ask for advice. Sounds to me like you have already made up your mind and really are just asking all these questions so that someone will confirm your choice. Sure a few threads ago you wanted a piggy-back to keep the sequential operation....
  12. And throughout this whole thread and all the other ones about mapping you have recently posted you are crying poverty for going to the UK so I don't see you spending any extra on anything tbh.....
  13. Pretty much all of what you just posted is a lie.
  14. They use Richard too
  15. The Plug in versions are spec'd to G4+ Xtreme. Also available as a plug in is VIPEC, which is the same thing and also made by Link
  16. Richard Bradley maps Link also and is very reputable and in Dungannon Co. Tyrone
  17. I think you should consult with Mark Luney, Carlo. most recently he has become the Link Europe Manager, however before this he drifted the SATS cosworth/Lucas Supra which ran link and various others before that. He might be able to advise you on what ecu will be the most suitable for you. And dont worry just because he now works for link, if he genuinely thinks it wont carry out your purpose he will tell you and advise you otherwise. Hes a straight shooter.
  18. They don't anymore. No longer required to get a VIC test after a cat c repair

    HKS F-Con IS

Only trying to help mate no need to take it thick.....

    HKS F-Con IS

The Tomei cam card wont be able to tell you the shim size surely. Shimming is done with a DTI gauge and each valve will be different as to when it opens and closes and the cam lobe comes round. Was it done using a DTI gauge?
  21. Well the view on my itemised value was what would it cost to buy that car in the state you did and do all that to it again given the current spec isnt immediately or commonly avaliable. Seemed to be ok for my insurance valuation
  22. Yea itemised cost should represent what it would actually cost for you to replace your car to the same spec and level as before. My agreed value is on itemised cost
  23. I would just do an itemised cost valuation because in the real world no one will ever pay for the amount that 7speed conversion has cost you let alone the cost of the rest of the car. They should accept that as they cant argue market value as its not as if they have anything else to compare it to
