  1. Oh right, think I might have a look down then.....cheers.
  2. Mines had a recent paintjob, and when it was up on the ramp getting laserlined the other day It looked well shabby.....time to get the G3 out!! haha. So, are you from Ouston as well then?
  3. Cheers mate. I hope to make it look a little bit better though, more 'my' car as it were...

    iiiiis thiiiiisss....SPAAAAARRRTAAAAAA? (laurels etc?)
  5. Adrian Flux, £280 F/C with courtesy car, public liability, windscreen and breakdown. No mods declared as yet, parked on my driveway with aftermarket alarm. I'm 40 years old and with zero no claims due to my Audi policy no claims not being allowable and a fault claim when my G/F decided my Shogun Sports front end would look nicer with the Armco in the A1 central reservations pattern embedded into it!! I repaired my own car, but Highways agency claimed £3500 for a 30 foot length of Armco which was merely scraped!! Barstewards!
  6. *shields his eyes*........
  7. On the outside of the lenses I 1st used G3 and a damp cloth and polished for around 10 mins. I then wiped them clean and polished for another 10 mins with Auto-Glym Radiant shine paste and then a quick wax coat with some normal Turtle Wax, They came up really good but still not perfectly clear. I barely did anything on the insides, just used the Auto-Glym and then Turtle waxed them. I think that, with plastic lenses as old as these, I was fortunate to get as good I have. I'm very happy.
  8. Wow.....The car ws a million times better than mine when u 1st got it!! Awesome motor mate!
  9. It also depends on how the car impacted the kerb. Di you slide side ways against it or did the car more roll hard into and up it? If it was a sideways impact I would think more along the lines of the bottom arm, however, this would show as the wheel seeming to be leaning out of the arch as opposed to seeming to lie deeper into it. Hitting and rolling up a kerb hard would manifest in a bent hub (or more commonly this would be the case anyway)....this would also make the wheel seem as if it was sitting 'further into' your wheel arch and possibly as if it is more cambered than it was before. Just my thoughts, having done similar myself a few times in different cars and also seeing friends cars with similar damage.
  10. Is there any spectating or is that what the £10 passenger fee is for?
  11. very nice....Rocket Bunny kit next????
  12. I use Google Chrome, never had any issues b4, but them....I've never done that b4! I've just refurbed my front lights....what a difference!
  13. I saw this thread today and bit the bullet....pulled my lights out, stripped them down, in the oven a1 100 degrees for 10 mins and they almost fell apart at the seam. I also tinted the sidelight lenses and polishe my lenses. I had to paint the chrome rings on mine black as they were peeling anyway. Have to say, I'm very happy with the results. It really brings the front end up to date....
  14. I'm new here myself, but Hi anyway. Theres only one thing I dont like about S2000's, I'm 6'5" and dont bloomin well fit in em!!! Haha, looks like an awesome project.....
  15. See, I did try that....but when I clicked on the img code...it said copied without me having to copy and paste...then when I pasted it in here...it gave the line of code as seen above! I fear I may be far to incompetent to grasp the finer intricacies of Online image sharing.....
  16. .....that last post should have read...'thank you Supraman' btw....
  17. Ahhh......that be them! How the b*ggery feck did you do that????
  18. One image shows the rear wheel to be buckled....it WAS buckled, but the rim has a deep graze on the very outer edge and the outer part of the lip has crackin to the laquer and the metal below has oxidised slightly...giving the impression that the buckle is still there...I can assure you, I removed the buckle and havent got around to completing the repair filly as of yet...but I will. I just had to get the wheels fitted as I had sold the ones that were on when I bought the car...
  19. Cheers, ok, lets see if this works then..... http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh598/Colin_Scougal/
  20. The radiator cap sounds like the culprit. What it does is it allows a certain amount of pressure to build up before opening....what greater pressure in the cooling system gives you is higher operating temperatures. If your cap is opening too early its allowing the water to boil at too low a temperature and causing 'overheating'....a new cap will fix it.... (I'm assuming that there is no bubbling in the rad when you rev it though, bubbling can point to HG issues)
  21. Can it be an indication of low/worn brake pads? Clutching at a poss cheap fix here though..
