  1. You wont go too far wrong if you look at the Dunlop sp All season brands. They've excellent grip on the snow/ice but also work well on tarmac, unlike some winter tyres. Vredstien Ultrac 3 might be a good option too.
  2. Hi there. That would have been me! I was was out taking a looka round the local area and estate agents.
  3. Jamie P's car has std j spec cams so when he says unopened he means un-opened Krister has GSC1 cams with springs and retainers
  4. This sounds an excellent deal. If I were doing it again I'd be straight over like a shot! I would have been in touch about my current gearbox sooner but I just havn't got the spare cash at the moment. I'll be in touch when I do:)
  5. I did my all 10 second runs on road fuel and street legal tyres, so it's quite possible:)
  6. I've paid up now. I wont be doing many runs down the strip as my gearbox will probably break on the day but it'll be fun all the same.
  7. I run it on my car, but at a 50/50 mix or 75/25 mix. I have to flick a switch or 2 over to go between fuel maps. I get it from Morrisons in Crowborough . They price it at 5/6 pence less than the 95 ron unleaded. It works But you'll need the right fuel pumps, lines, injectors, fuel rail , tune/tuner , fuel pressure etc etc. So unless you can get it regularly and easily/cheaply don't bother, go and get your car tuned on bp 102 or race fuel. I tested this out at North weald the other week and managed a 132 ET on the 1/4 mile on my stock block so I'm quite happy with it for now. The result is more power, lower Egt's, is much cleaner and I believe, would pass an emissions test without catalytic converters installed. The other down side is a drop in fuel consumption
  8. Thanks . To see those would be fun:) I'm looking forward to them Rob
  9. Hi there. It was nice to meet you both. That was me "Robbie" with the white supra. I ended up 5th overall with the 2nd fasted ET out of the cars. I'm not pushing it too hard off the line as i dont wish to break it:) My best was 11.6 at 132mph. Nothing like my old times but still respectable I think.
  10. Boostlogic for me too. Ive had mine for years now. I probably do less than 10,000 miles a year but a lot of these miles are covered with a heavy right foot!It still has the same colour of powder coat it had when it was new. Kean at Boostlogic is a nice guy and will help most people out if he can.
  11. Bump! Had interest from 4 people but no takers as yet so...
  12. Rad cap 1.2/3 bar for supra tt
  13. Last price drop. I'd like it gone! Its taking up space in my office
  14. I'll take them if Gruggs can't. Thanks:)
  15. Hi, it's completely std.
  16. I got the volt meter out. I had to remove the headlamps to get to the wires and ballasts. When I checked the voltage across the wires I was only getting 2.3volts. when I removed the passenger headlamp I could see the wireing. It turned out to be a separate fuse attatched to the wire harness had gotten corroded. The HIDs had been wired up with a harness simialr to the one shown in the thread on ebay. I cleaned up all the connections and ta da...all lights were blazing away again. Thanks for the help and advice. Rob
  17. E85 can do that to a car:D:cool: The sad truth is that the only things that have trouble keeping up with my car are my bank balance and my reactions! Re lights; I'll check the connections today at some point.
  18. Just in case I end up needing a new set of hids (4300) , who/where is it best to speak/go to?
  19. 25000 volts:Pling: Ok! I doubt my volt B&Q volt meter will read that! I was going to check to see how far along the circuit the power went if at all with my volt meter.
