create an account yourself and put in a bid for 10k - and keep doing it for all his auctions just to pis him off

  11. Yes I was thinking I would do that without a doubt when I ordered the EEE but when it arrived I didnt mind the linux platform too much and it did everything I needed it to do. Today the problem has been down to the OS but I dont see this happening again. Also I was a bit scared of fecking with the os not knowing exactly what I was doing:Pling:
  12. yes its pretty cool and weighs nothing, I thought about going down the route of XDA/ Nokia communicator but they are just too big to carry around as phones. This was perfect and has a decent keyboard+ you can load XP on it too if you want. I am quite happy with the Xandros os - it allows me to get online and check emails. Combined with the 3G card (£15 per month 3gb allowance) its a pretty good package. They are only £220 too!
  13. whoohoo! Finally got it working after much consultation from the EEE pc forum and help on here. Carlos using Xandros+3g+eee pc yielded some results I didnt have before so thanks for that!
  14. Ah excellent - I was searching for Linux USB compatibility (Which is what I thought my system was), I know realise that its actually a variant of Linux...should help with the search results!
  15. Apparantly they are supported as a number of users are running the 3g usbs on them. I have got a black 4gb EEE. Its pretty sweet and great for carrying around with you everywhere!
  16. Not yet as I'm in the middle of something else, havent had chance to look at it yet Nice forum though:D
  17. Yes thanks guys - I already posted on that forum before I posted on here but wasnt getting much of a response. Seem to have had some feedback now though http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=4411 So yes I did google
  18. me too But I have work to do so I wont be responding anymore - I think my point has been proven, people can make their own mind up. And YES my query requires diagnostics and isnt as simple as your posts - again point proven read post 5 & 6
  19. did I? Where was that then? Am I missing something? I actually stated that your initial resolution was of help if I knew what to do with it - hence the reason I have asked for help on here! I picked you up on asking me to use google for something which to me is quite complex when you post simple questions that can be googled in 10 seconds. Be a man and admit your second response was not needed particularly considering your track record
  20. ..sorry you fealt you had to delete your original threads mate. Its sometimes hard dealing with someone who is straight talking hey?
  21. It took 2 minutes to find answers to all your threads on google, not long mate My query requires diagnostics and isnt as simple as your posts. Thank you for replying
