Guys my PS2 game controller works fine for games like R-type etc, today I put some new games in and it wont respond - any ideas? (have tried 3 controllers now).

dude you are thinking of Diwali - which is the Hindu festival of light - thats when they let off fireworks etc so make sure the cats are in for that and not Eid (when no fireworks are let off!) Diwali will be on the 9th of November AFAIK

Well i've downloaded Neils and Jons packs and in combination they have played all the non-working movies ! cheers guys Cheekymonkey - I had played the movies via VLC but there was a sound sync problem visuals were ok but sound was muffled/3 secs slower than visuals

When playing some movies in Windows media player etc I get the message saying I do not have a particular codec - anyone know the location of a safe codec pack I can download from somewhere which resolves this without putting malware/adware on my PC as I've read some codec pack download sites send you nasties too;)

Yup, the only thing with this though is I will have to plug/unplug everytime I want to upload a new movie, where as the other dvd player option I can just plug my portable usb hdd and away I go! Thanks for your help FAR

Jon - I dont have a Divx player - its a standard dvd player, Kevin you've totally lost me dude! lol, guess I will have to DL one of these programmes and have a play. Anyone know which program is best to do the job? Also if I buy a Divx dvd player is it as simple as burning the AVI as a data dvd and bunging it in the player job done? I think this may be the simplest solution!

thanks dude! So Videora can convert my standard mpegs to MP4 and then I can dump them straight into iTunes ready to transfer to my Ipod?
