  1. My drivers side window has been playing up for ages. Sometimes it will go down but slowly. Sometimes it will be fine unless I let it get all the way to the bottom then it won’t come back up, sometimes it just does nothing. Giving the side the door panel/switch a bang brings it back to life. I replaced the switch with a second hand one and whilst the door panel was off it was working ok unless I let the glass get the bottom them it wouldn’t come back up. The strange thing is if I gave the door panel a little bang (i.e. directly behind the normal location of the switch) it was fine. Now I've put the panel back on it will hardly move at all. Worse than ever. I thought there might be a loose wire hence the banging on the panel working but couldn’t see anything. Any suggestions would be good! Thanks.

    Got dish?

Horrible and as for that price!
  3. Exactly the same bignum, I've had these for over a year!
  4. Great write up. Any idea where I can get the longer ACME screws? I went to B&Q, Halfords and Homebase today looking but no luck?
  5. Hi Gruggs, I havent got a PM yet. Still looking for one.
  6. My drivers side window doesn't always work, normally the switch needs a bang even then it goes slow or sometimes doesn't work at all. Anyone got a good one for sale or know the part number/ cost to get it from toyota? Thanks.
  7. I would try to sell as soon as possible rather than leaving it till you really need the money and having to make desperate price drops to get it sold.
  8. Wow lovely car, good value for money.
  9. That doesnt seem cheap to me when you see some of the cars around now you can get for that price.
  10. Brand new tyres on the rear and about 6mm on the fronts. When it goes in for a service I'll get all the alignment done and go from there. Hopefully that will make a big difference.
  11. I'm running 36psi in both the front and rear. 235/35/18 fronts with goodyear eagle f1. Rears 265/35/18 Falcon 452's. Size from memory. Its an Sz-r with the blisten shocks.
  12. Had them on the front once they were ok. Sounds like the same sort of issues I'm having, I think its starting to be a common thing now the car is getting to a certain age.
  13. On the 16" stock wheels I think the front was 225 and the rear size was 245. On the 18" on the front 245 and back 265. It still did this a bit on the 16's but nothing like I remember it now.
  14. My car isn’t handling right. It will drive and brake straight on a dead straight level road. However if the road points to either the left or right the car seems to want to follow the road. Going downhill on a road that’s slopes to the left for example whilst braking in traffic the car is really pulling to the left. I had my brakes checked and the garage replaced the calliper pins, cleaned them out etc but it still wasn’t right. I got the alignment done but not successfully as some of the nuts were seized so I need to get that sorted first. Camber (I think) was well out on both sides but it was even so they said it might have been set like that previously so at the moment they are both at -3 from memory. Any thoughts? Could it just need the alignment sorting or could this be a suspension issue? Also since I went from 16” wheels to 18” the problems got MUCH worse.
  15. Wow! I could buy a new Supra for that;)
  16. How much for the parts from Toyota?
  17. Is it call costs from the Sky talk maybe? Don't know just a guess.
  18. I have one goodyear eagle F1 GSD3 tyre for sale. 5-6mm tread remaining so loads of life. No repairs, even wear. Collection from Newhaven or Brighton preferred but I'm sure something could be worked out around courier if required. Let me know if you want a picture, £65.
  19. Shame about your job but £2K sound like a good price.
  20. Wow that looks very modern and nice!
  21. I've got the D40 and D300. The D40 is excellent, you really cant go wrong with it for the price. It only becomes a pain if you want to buy more lens, due to not having the autofocus motor build into the body, limiting you to more expensive lens.
