  1. I actually thought he was older than 77. I remember seeing him on tv or radio in various capacities my whole life. Shame really as he seemed nice charitable man.
  2. Ahh I forgot about that. Add another 5k to the total, and multiply that by the square root of 36, then divide that by the bhp of two bananas and a tired donkey.
  3. About £46.68 per square inch of car.
  4. This. I had mine for 3 years and the only issues I had were the alternator and starter motor died, and the Mines ECU started to have a meltdown. Quite frankly who can be surprised that two 20 year old electrical parts finally failed. Minus the poor fuel to performance issue they look great, drive well and I'd probably have another one if I could (would obviously prefer a TT though) As I've stated before I do feel sorry for people looking to buy now due to the inflated prices. People are going to be prone to getting lumbered with a dog from Gumtree or High Wycombe if they don't do there homework. Due to these reasons I think I'd only ever buy from this forum or JM Imports 'if' I was seriously ever going to buy another.

    Hi all

Welcome to the club. As John said there's loads of NA-T advice on here and also David P's hybrid autobox maybe of interest to you too. P.s you need some facelift indicators
  6. I paid £200-250 for mine a few years ago- probably the best thing I ever bought for my NA.
  7. Who would of thought a car being pushed to the max could come off said road on a corner....
  8. I just had a look- I like their new site which is number three (that I've seen) and makes me 100% sure that they're not remotely dodgy.
  9. I was just thinking that with recent price increases, the High Wycombe lot must appear to of priced their cars sensibly compared to a few years ago (if their prices have remained the same)
  10. Personally I don't think I'll ever have another supra due to the price increase. I remember reading JP bought his black beast for about 7k in 2007 (IIRC) I know it is what it is price wise, but I'd be insane to pony up even more for what will be an even older car if I do get one in the future. Anyone who bought a TT auto for 4.5k a couple of years ago must be well chuffed though
  11. Didn't Keron sell a LHD TT6 the other few for a small fortune?
  12. He does have some interesting videos-I forgot how much much enjoyment I got out of them/him.
  13. You can but you have to pick it up
  14. I would love to meet him- I'm surprised when he helped dig that well the locals didn't push him in and refill it.
  15. I'll make an exception. I like the £850 centre caps- that's £135 more than I paid for my car
  16. I wish I'd done the wheel now,can I just randomly use it too
  17. Could someone photoshop a less boring colour too
  18. I never found it too hard- just maintenance really to keep it in good nick. Saying that you only have use of one arm makes a massive change in my opinion though
  19. Nice random/pointless knowledge there.
  20. I used to be a chef so was required to keep knives sharpened to a good degree for work via hand.
  21. Personally if mine were really blunt I'd get them sharpened (a lot of butchers/hotels etc have someone come round now and then to do it on a wheel) and then just maintain them with a knife steel. I've never been a fan nor rate the other tools.
