  1. Shtop Shtop Phil with this, you are really spoiling us!
  2. Must admit it's nice to pick up bits for £10s not £100s on these so many around. Shame of it is I could buy a whole tracked compact for less £1k and pilfer everything of it including a cage! But can I be arsed and have another car on the drive.. still dam site cheaper than buying everything separately
  3. Enormous attendance on that date! I'm only a noob ha ha lol gotta be 50-70 cars?
  4. So some of you guys picked up on a couple of threads showing off my new track car. Thought I briefly run a separate thread for updates. So it started with a pretty poor piece of judgement on my part. Long story short but the first car blew up on the way home! This was a dark blue compact with a 2.8, dodgy seller wasn't going to refund me so managed an exchange to this one above for free. (Incidentally found the first one on eBay again from another seller so some other guy fell for it again and got stung) So on purchase this is a 2001 Bmw E36 Compact with 2.5 5spd conversion (from 1.6) with E36 M3 front bumper, some nice skirts and a rocket bunny lip extension. Wiper delete (just been pulled off). In a fetching shade of baby blue. STD interior except for a lovely OMP wheel in alcantara blue first issue was intermittent overheating again, so after investigation went with a new water pump and thermostat and housing but that didn't solve the issue so it was a blown head gasket. So ok I'm in for a penny in for a few hundred pounds - a replacement engine from a well looked after auto and a small fortune later I had a reliable car - 12hrs later it's at Oulton park! The white wheels had a weld so got some OEM wheels and got rid of the stupid bonnet scoop. Overhauled the brakes with braided lines, bike fluid, yellow stuff pads and then Fitted some towing eyes and I'm razzing it round like a Bignum wannabe (with a supra sticker hidden in the cabin) https://vimeo.com/187856620 Loved every minute of it! Novice group with less than 10 cars on track and all the tarmac to play with for the whole day. Car did well felt little roll but it's already on coilovers so good enough Plans ECU remap for 2.5 Buckets and Belts Strip down the interior and lightweight door cards Fabricate a heat shield for the air filter New engine mounts And on and on and on Planning Corborough (South Staffs) end Oct and want to join up with some of your guys for Nov Oulton Park and then also the garage doing the work CheadleAutoWorx have a BMW track event 04Dec I think too. Looking at plenty of upgrades next yr will post up. Trying to learn some basic DIY as I go

    Rollin

Love it... had to watch it twice but fair doos it looks pretty good https://www.facebook.com/JDMaccessories09/videos/926694574120719/ So... who's first to do this on their supra?
  6. Thanks but that I fear will be too narrow as I need a 40cm inside base seat width. Cheers for looking for me
  7. Can you measure the width between the uprights please Btw I'm from Parkhall area (not there anymore though)
  8. Hiya - I can't find a spec sheet for the eE6 FO rails Are they bought/intended for another car? Also don't think they'll fit anything other than Bride seats?
  9. Happy to accommodate Tricky Ricky - seeing as he's a busy boy
  10. That's a good date for us or the week after but not next week
  11. From the website pics they look to be alongside each other open plan, I would ask them who has access and whether Joe public wonders in and parks their car or an employee fetches them to the front desk.
  12. Thinking of using hired winter storage for the first time. Anybody used car storage firms before? Lance Car Storage (Manchester) always come up first on google and are £15 p/w indoors dehumidified with a decent website So offset by being Sorn and perhaps lowered insurance seems acceptable for me, But any horror stories generally with storage or LCS or things I should bear in mind with respect to Supras and storage away from home?
  13. Bought a new PS4 500GB Black (CUH 1200 Chassis) with Unchartered 4, one controller. For various reasons I haven't even opened it yet. I have the receipt of purchase but only useful in the event its broken out of the box and I need to take it back (but is proof of a legit shop purchase). Looking to fund Track Car stuff so a change of plans means I'm up for selling if anyone wants it. Collection only so it can be seen to be fully BNIB Wrapped up - and can be powered up at my house. I'm not offering any refunds from this being posted and someone saying it doesn't power up, none of that thanks. Fixed price for a short time otherwise I'll open it up and crack on with Unchartered 4 and probably buy Assesto Corsa to go with it. £250 Cash collected. No offers thanks, the receipt is for £270 so im being upfront as to what it cost, a good price compared to various shop sellers (ebay well.. that's up to you), Thanks for reading Located Macclesfield
  14. I watched ARQ last night, for what is probably quite low budget, I thought it was pretty good, I wasn't too bothered about picking holes in it. Takes an award for the latest possible "twist" in a film - literally the very last second of the film!
  15. Yeah I reckon so - we are right by the rally paddock which I reckon will sound awesome all day. Decent turnout of nice cars all ages really
  16. Sorry realised 16s don't clear UK brakes. I'm out
  17. Might be slightly off topic but I went all out with Centre Gravity in the Midlands area. 500 of your smackeroonies and a full day. Worth every penny! Big Mark has been there too. Honestly worth the trip to get a proper spec setup (I live just south of Manchester)
  18. Yes I am still interested just haven't heard about hubby? You can't really stump up the cash on free stuff so the queue should be respected so to speak. PJavon all ok then I assume? Will pick up next week can you pm me address and phone number please (if hubby has dropped out)
  19. I'll take the wheels if they are true not buckled cracked etc or repaired (assuming I'm in line after Hubby)
  20. Oh and buy 3/4 I don't know anyone rounds these parts who buy a 1 piece - unless they only play at one location - store it there and don't play away matches 3/4 piece means you can replace the butt for an extension and keep a straight cue rather than relying on a plastic extension (can't remember what they are called)
  21. I'm happy with an oversized tip, 9-9.25 can't recall exactly, but have enough power to generate the same response off smaller tips but keep the reliability of accuracy. I can smack a long straight black in off the cush all night long. For me best of both worlds, if I use a smaller tip I lose position with too much white movement
