  1. Holiday Inn Car park at 08:30am sharp, ML1 3RB yes? just making sure.
  2. Granted im not the "Aberdeen Lot" but i am from Aberdeen haha. Yup weather too bad for me to wash the supe just now aswell, and it's gotten covered in some dodgy yellow tree pollen from around my works car park in the last couple of days, not appealing
  3. Next year! if its still on Too soon after purchasing my Supra to be able to justify the fuel back down there, plus have a show this weekend in glasgow so needed to pay for fuel for that too if this is on next year i'll get saving!
  4. Ok just so i know, what the hell are "club challenges"? total noob at this stuff
  5. well Velco strips and double sided pads have both been used on this roof and neither are holding it up! will maybe remove all those pads and try that tiger seal stuff. Edit:
  6. Hello all, had a quick search but couldn't find another thread about this (or at least not one using the title words i would of used) basically the back of my roof lining is peeling off, it's been like this since i bought the car and there is a variety of different remnants of sticky things on the roof and lining itself meaning this has been happening for a long time. has anyone here changed their roof lining? if so, what is the best way of fitting it on and not having to worry about it peeling off again? Cheers for any info Neil D
  7. Boom, getting ramped for this! just need to get the peices of my new clutch put in the motor now haha
  8. Same boat, first car was a 1.4 astra, second car was a 1.6 56' astra, 3rd car a 3.0 Supra, TT would definitely killed me by now haha.
  9. How about mentioning that the N/A might be the common sense approach for alot of first time sports car owners like myself? i could have bought a TT, although the insurance might have been too expensive, but i've never owned a RWD car before and my last car had half the power of an N/A Supra. My point? If i bought the TT and somehow could afford the insurance, i'd probably have crashed it already. *waits for the "well clearly you're a sh&t driver" replies*
  10. I'll agree with that. I genuinely dont understand the thought process that brings these little morons to think "yup, that'll be a good idea", must be some kind of genetic defect? Hopefully when the police folks come round later they can get some info off that camera, as it is pointed directly at the area it looks like the eggs were thrown from. Disappointing to hear that this kind of thing happens to so many other people aswell.
  11. I stay on Great Northern Road. Annoyingly I normally park in the more secure part of the car park which is surrounded by high walls but all the spaces were full in there that night so I had to park in one of the three that sit outside the walls. So gutted, police coming round tomorrow to take statements from me.and the other 2 owners of the other cars. Just found a couple more chips on the bonnet and wing mirror cover
  12. I awoke this morning to find somebody had egged my Supra (and the two cars parked next to mine also) i have absolutely no idea who done it or why, seems to just be random vandalism for the sake of it. luckily (if you can say that at all in this situation) it is a wet and dull/cold day here in aberdeen, so the egg was not baked on like it would have been a few days ago if this had happened. I hastily cleaned the car and got the vast majority off of the car within a couple of minutes but unfortunately some damage had already occurred. these chips are all in about a 3inch diameter circle but still very p*ssed off. doing a quick bit of CSI: Aberdeen i figured out that from the angle the egg hit my car (obvious by the position and angle of splatter marks across my bonnet) it must have been done from the pavement about 3-4 meters to the right of my car and about 10 meters down the road. I then remembered there is a bus lane camera/speed camera pointed in my cars direction from a little bit further back, now i've no idea how these cameras work but do they constantly record? or are the still picture cameras activated by motion sensors? if there is any possibility i can get some sort of picture of these guys from that camera, i would be a very happy man. TL;dr. My car got egged and there is a speed camera pointed near where the throwers threw from.
  13. I'll have to see how funds are after the show the weekend before this but stick my name down and I will try and get some calculations done.
  14. yea im not understanding this talk of Supras not getting attention, first thing i noticed when getting it home was how many people were pointing and looking at it, asking questions too. Never got that with an Astra i'll tell ya!
  15. Can you add my missus to my price please? Cheers.
  16. Me looking like an angry man. im actually just incredibly drunk. nowhere near as angry, but i think equally drunk haha
  17. you guys have to pay for prescription drugs? that sucks, we get them for free regardless of circumstance :S
  18. Yea i wouldn't mind tagging along if it doesn't cause much hassle? No chance of me taking charge of the tickets and whatnot, never been to one of these things before
  19. Looks like a convoy from the Deen then!
  20. Your poo might smell nice the next day though! Literally the only silver lining i could find with doing this challenge
  21. I might actually head to this. will speak to the boss first and see what she says
