  1. Thanks mate, when I originally fitted the maf into the 4" intake it wouldn't even run. It started and ran for like 10 seconds then stopped. So I reduced the inside down by fitting 2 lengths of silicone inside, it's pretty much exactly the same diameter as the stock airbox now. It ran fine like this for at least a week before developing this problem so I'm hoping it's not this. If the spark plugs don't fix it that I've ordered I will look into it though thanks.
  2. Thanks mate that's a great help. I'll work my way through these checks.
  3. Alright thanks mate, ordered 2 new ones. I'll swap them around and see if it improves idle. If it does i'll buy the other 4.
  4. I actually had all the plugs out in the last week. Had a cam cover gasket leak and the top of the plugs were soaked in oil. I dried them all off and put them back in, no difference. You think they coukd have been damaged?
  5. What's gone wrong mate? I'd be interested in the srd alternator, rad and twin fan kit please if breaking.
  6. Sheefa and I will be coming down the M40 from Birmingham/Redditch/Solihull kinda way if anyone wants to join in.
  7. Erratic idle and stalling on warm starts. Otherwise runs and Boosts fine.
  8. As title, after a known working TPS sensor from vvti. Happy to buy if you don't need or even just to borrow a working one for 1 day so I can see if my cars problem is the TPS. Part number on mine is: 89452-30150
  9. Okay chaps this issue has gotten worse recently. Last two days when I warm start the car unless I feather the throttle the idle is so lumpy sometimes it drops so low it stalls. Doesn't seem quite as bad when it's in gear but still bad. Apart from that the car is running fine as far as I can tell. Boosts fine, no misfires and otherwise drives smooth apart stalling and bad idle. I bought maf cleaner, removed the maf sensor and sprayed it down. Made no difference. Any ideas? I got a quote for a new TPs but I don't want to buy one unless I know it's that.

  11. Ahh crap! I meant to pay last night but completely forgot! Am I too late!?
  12. Very nice mate, with todays prices in Japan i bet that was a pretty penny!! Lovely motor though
  13. My boostlogic sounded great, like Jason said though the F&F sound is mainly from the tubular manifold, the Red one in this case which is no longer available. I believe sound performance made a replica though if you really want the sound and have a single turbo.
  14. Someone message him and ask if he'll accept 9.5k
  15. How can people be so delusional lol Looks lovely from the back but horrendous from the front.
  16. Hmm i'm not sure that's correct Dnk, i had 275 previously on my 10.5" and the tyre was stretched and i didn't like it so i went for 295 and it fits much nicer.
  17. Lovely car Josh, good luck with the sale mate.
  18. I've got 295 on my rear 10.5" ET30 and it's pretty damn tight. this is with the arches rolled. Doubt 305 would fit without a bit of a flare.
  19. Yeah same size as clock mate but the backs smaller so there's nothing to hold it in that spot as tight as i wanted. So i bought some L brackets from B&Q cut them to size and they screw into the standard clocks screw holes. More info in my thread i did a little write up on it: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?312085-Glanza_Mike-s-Clean-White-VVTI-Supra-Project!/page15
  20. I have this mate and i really like it, i made a bracket for it to fit nice and snug in the old facelift clock position. Gauge looks great, boost controller and wideband seem to both work very nicely. And looks kinda stock where i've put it in the black colour I bought this as i didn't want loads of gauges.
  21. Thanks guys, just checked and the rattle does indeed sound like it's around the valve/nipple on the side. I haven't removed the baffle an i definitely haven't dropped anything and got it stuck in there so yeah i think it will be fine. Thought it was better to be safe rather than sorry though, thanks.
  22. I'm not of much use on prices Carl but I'm potentially interested in the diff if the price is right mate.
