  1. From responses on other threads looks like we might need some crowd control! The more the merrier I guess? Looking forward to meeting some of you there!
  2. Driftworks have been using these for years with no issues? There is a known issue relating to powder coating these wheels. The heat cycle damages the integrity of the construction. I guess we will find out on Saturday. Are you coming to watch?
  3. Looks like Mike might be competing if he gets his car rebuilt in time:-)
  4. It was for safety after the comment about it stopping the bits going rusty after washing. Like to think you are right and no offence meant the the op. Better safe than sorry though.
  5. Don't paint the non rusty parts of the disk. You don't want to have to wear off a layer of paint before your brakes work. These bits will still rust when you wash the car, but the rest will be sparkly and rust free. As for colour, it's black for me. But it's your car, go with what you want. If you don't like it you can always change the colour.
  6. http://www.scribd.com/mobile/documents/22538022 Thanks to our friend Google
  7. I should have a couple of Tein rear springs in a few weeks if it's of any help. I have a bit of sag in one of the fronts so replacing with coilovers. Let me know if you are interested.
  8. Paul and Steve run STD pumps on their Whifbitz race cars. Paul had one let go at Cadwell last year taking the sump out with it and depositing fragments all round the engine. However he replaced it with another stock unit. He has had his car over 1000 BHP at one time and it was still stock pump then. Hope that helps.
  9. First time I've met you. Thought you were just a miserable git! Lol In all honesty you seemed fine to me.
  10. As you will see above I was contacted 3 minutes after posting. The buyer came to see and hear it on the car today and the deal was done. At least you seem to have first dibs on another one.
  11. Thanks for the comments guys. Done some more bits and pieces. Ordered the expansion tank so the FMIC can be sorted.[GRIN][/GRIN] Looks like I may be going with the twin side exit after all. Guinnae (?) pig time for me then. Rear hatch tint film was delaminating so peeled it off. Now will spend the next two months with a cloth and white spirit getting all the glue off.[ANGRY][/ANGRY] Should have left it alone. Looks like one of the front Tein springs is sagging a little. Unfortunately the KYB shocks do not have ride height adjustment so it looks like a set of coilovers needs to be added to the list. Whiffin you will be my downfall! Jurgen - hear what you are saying about the carpet, it would look better in black but I am trying to get the function right before the beautification begins. Chris - Thanks, I really like the wheel and the improvement in feedback is incredible! Just need to get a removable boss adaptor now. Thanks for your comments about the mods. Its nice to get that sort of recognition from one of the sites luminaries!!! J_JZA80 - Super Dragger put up for sale yesterday and gone already. Sorry. Yes the wife is definately the awkward part of this equation. I did say to her before I bought it wasn't it better to have an automotive mistress for my mid life crisis rather than a real one. She's not even been in it yet.
  12. What we have to remember is that it is currently green and will need repainting anyway. Unless someone else with a green Supra wants it????????? Best if the OP names his price. Let the bunfight begin.................
  13. will you have your tubby in time? If you are there and need a hand you know I will do my best. Going to be difficult to juggle both TA and Euro Saloons!!!!!! The wife will have a fit!
  14. Hey Neil, if you are struggling for the dash switch I can help you out ;-)
  15. Hi guys, just to let you know the Whifbitz boys are not taking part in Time Attack this year so will not be there.
  16. Oh yes! Think I might be back in a few weeks. Working on something at the moment and will very interested in before and after figures.
  17. I'm sure we can meet up somewhere as you are not too far away from me. Maybe Charnock Richard on the M6? When were you thinking, this weekend?
  18. Coming off my car in about 10 days will be the Super Dragger, being replaced with a Whifbitz twin box system to make it nice and quiet for trackdays. This exhaust was tested on my car at 100db at Whifbitz so technically ok for trackdays but also want to be a little more stealthy generally. Will try to get some photos this weekend. Was thinking around £150 plus postage but really would want to drop it off somewhere. Up and down the UK frequently and going to Scotland in a few weeks so sure we can arrange to meet up to save a few quid! Pics Added
  19. Have decided to replace the Super Dragger with the twin box Whifbitz exhaust from SteveL's race car (one careful owner?????) Was thinking about getting Paul to make me a twin side exit system similar to the new one on SteveLs car but think it is a step too far at the moment. Need to get a bit more power first!!!! These look like they will be a very good price but you will have to talk to Paul about that. Front towing eye has arrived and just need to get the mesh grill trimmed and it welded on. Waiting for some cage prices so I can get rolling with that. Once these mods are done I think a track day will be in order Next up will be FMIC and radiator expansion tank. Did someone mention that Supras were money pits? Can't think what they meant.
