In another thread about protection Chris Wilson recommended Dinitrol as being the best thing to use. Worth a look as it doesn't seem that expensive.

Is it possible that when connecting the battey you might have frazzled something? Seems the only possible solution if the only difference is the battery.

I strapped my stormforce force really tight but after taking it off after leaving it up for christmas, have noticed it has marked the body on the front and rear arches !! I won't be using it again it more hassle than its worth.

I am asuming there is no way the club can get some sort of group discount on breakdown cover say from the club insurer?

RAC and AA do as I have just got a quote off both. I don't currently have break down cover as I know someone who can get me back home to a garage I trust. So its looking like about 60 quid for the two days

Threoretically they could accidentally put the emissions tester in the wrong car. But this is only a theory ....
