  11. just had a quick look at a post lee made and i think it may have been mr Raj with 375bhp, he wont directly admit it though as there are to many flamers on the MLR
  12. scott not had my XT400 on the quarter yet but ill let you know how i get on, im up for some straight line runs and a rolling start if you fancy it ? i would be very interested yes the 400 is much quicker than an FQ330, not only does it have more power but the torque's alot more to, the reason i went for a xt400 over an fq400 was the power and torque curv they dont really have many kill threads on the MLR but ill have a look
  13. but i can put my power down *waits to be flamed* just joking
  14. yes they are alot harder to tune than a supra being a 2lt i dont do as many parts these days but tell me what you want and ill see what i can do

  16. The XT stands for xtreme spec its a better option than the FQ400 as i have no lag at all, i have max power and torque at around 3500RPM and it holds it to 7000RMP scott i have 2 evo VIII's my XT400 and an FQ330, as you say proof in the pudding and i would be willing to have my ass handed to me (dont take this the wrong way, im not bragging just a genuine offer to find out on track as i would be interested) no i didnt go for 2.3 as i wanted to keep it really drivable for country roads, i didnt want a massive turbo as i find it more fun in the twisties, i didnt want lag or a suden rush of power at the end of the revs i dont have any recent pics or any good ones, this is all i have
  17. 4 on a standard one, trust me
  18. indeed the amount of grip they have is honestly unbalivable, especially in the wet ! the only problem is the SAYC (super active yaw control) if the car starts to slide it corrects its self using brakes to slow the wheels that need to be slowed and then the active diffs send power to where its needed, only problem is the car corrects it so well you need to pin the throttle and hold the wheel still, this doesnt happen though as your natural reaction it to countersteer and feather the throttle. this means the car corrects it and so do you, now the car is double corrected and this leads to some nasty fishtails, quite a few evo owners have binned it due to this but then you can swap to the cast iron RS diff and junk the whole system
  19. when i had an FQ300 it pulled away from a couple of BPU supras off here during high speed runs. now i have an XT400 and to be honest you would have to have alot of power in a supra to keep up at low speed or high speed due to weight, mine has been off the clock (dont know how acurate the evo clocks are) it pulls hard to 140 then after 160 it does strugle a bit. reliability really has to go to the supra though. my last supra had 60k miles of solid abuse and the only thing to go was the head gasket, lets just say the evo has cost ALOT more to keep it going !!
  20. no i dea what they are worth mate, i took them off my black evo when i went for Alcon 6 pots open to offers
  21. i have a set of these for sale if anyone wants them ?
  22. thanks chaps, sorry i didnt catch this sooner but i have been away enjoying myself !
  23. i have a brand new chrome toyota logo here its a genuine one still in the toyota bag
