  1. nice one mate, saw the car at Phoenix and it looks sweet now thats what you call a sleeper car
  2. ive got a tiptronic and i think its great. Works just like a normal auto in D, flick it to the side and you can still keep both hands on the wheel and change up and down the gears, which is good when say you are giving it some and you want to hold a gear, in the middle of a corner for example
  3. mate phone up Sky and speak to Jae or Scott, they are very helpful. I was in similar position, as mentioned above its standard practice for NCB to expire after 2 years if not used, but i didnt know at the time. Mine expired, but i had been a named driver on another car. I was only a couple of months late so when i spoke to Sky they sorted gave me the same quote as if i had my NCB after i showed them that i had been insured as a named driver and there had been no claims on that policy.
  4. i need to get mine done, post the details up mate
  5. I wish i had seen this thread earlier, it would have saved me a big headache as i had this problem which was limiting my car to 2300rpm, only figured out on Sunday that all i needed to do was switch the RLTC off to sort it

    Top Gear time

i like the way the lambo can raise the front end for speed bumps, now that would be handy for some of our cars

Im pretty sure Chris Webley said Owen Developments could get the MOTEC to control the FBW for extra £££s, but im not positive so best to check
  9. yeah Mark was saying foodfreak i think Ro btw how was the drive back home?
  10. this is cool, so there's a third port? Gaz must have connected the machine to the second one with no wires connected to it, whereabouts is the third one, cars at Phoenix right now so i cant check
  11. As Ro said my car is the same, Gaz wasnt able to get a reading from my car from under the dashboard either, but not sure if that is just an issue with my car, something i need to get checked out.
  12. im not sure it is available on the Ai606 as i think it would no longer have Cat 1 status, but i could be wrong
  13. PMSL thats classic, i like the streetfighter one best
  14. You should pm absxxx for details as i think he had one fitted to his car
  15. Price for me too please Nic, '98 VVTi
  16. thats what stands out with guys from Phoenix, a refreshing change
  17. Hopefully Phoenix will be able to check it on monday, we think it may be FSE related too so changing for an aeromotive
  18. Sven was saying they practiced them almost everyday, although i wonder under what conditions they were practiced in Penalties in practice are totally different from penalties after a 120 minutes match with the added pressure of knowing if you miss you are out of the world cup
  19. Mines the same colour and i call it Quicksilver and i have seen darker shades here which is what i thought was Gunmetal and i thought the Alpine silver was like the pre facelift silvers?
  20. ive got a set of these in 18s on my car, really nice wheels
  21. 64. qaisar (incase someone drops out)
  22. Qaisildo or Shinho with my middle name
  23. well i had a bike which was quoted at around 3.5 seconds to 60 and i dont think i came close to accelerating on it as fast as that but even then i would get thrown back and have to hold tight, suppose it may be different if in a car seat
  24. LOL cheers mate, yeah to be honest i would like to keep the 67 as thats in the power range i think i will like, but at the moment cant afford all the supporting mods, mainly the built transmission, so will settle for a 61 for now and then once ive sorted out the transmission etc then upgrade to a 67dbb
