  1. They look immense! How much did they set you back if you don't mind me asking? And where from?!
  2. If it wasn't you then I apologise, but the names given for the company rang a bell, and I presumed that it would be the same place. I therefore take back what I said.
  3. This sounds a lot like A 'dealer' I visited when I was looking for a z32 300zx ( before I saw sense and bought the supra ) and he was really rude, claiming he dealt in supras mainly and when I questioned him about the poor state of the car I came to see he told me he only takes in mint undamaged cars... he also claimed the car I was looking at was mint, it was parked up against a wall and I had a look around the side I could see and it looked pretty good, went out for a drive and again all seemed well... When we arrived back he parked the side that was concealed by the wall right up against the opposite wall, by this time it was getting suspicious, and I checked that side to find possibly the worst repair job ever! I left pretty sharpish!

    oem sidskirts

This man speaks the truth! I've arsed around with fibreglass before, and it was always a ball ache, I've just fitted my oem plastic ones and it took me 10 minutes to do both sides. Well happy
  5. What about doing some just plain and ready for paint? I'm not fussed about it being carbon!

    Ridox spats

Oh, ok I didn't realise they started out as carbon bottoms. I was planning on painting the bottom skirt Matt black anyway, I have oem skirts so maybe they'll look ok? If I go for anything it'll either be oem or ridox, not really a fan of the vs ones. Only reason I'm asking is I've been offered a cheap set of ridox ones, so as long as they're a good fit I think I'll have a go at them! Thanks again guys!

    Ridox spats

Hi guys, I've been on the hunt for some oem copy rear spats, I've settled on some from knight racer, as they have a fitment guarantee. But I've recently come across some ridox spats? Now, Looking at images of the ridox spats, they look almost identical to the oem ones, but with an extra skirt out the bottom, is that correct or are they basically oem copies? Anything I need to be aware with the fitting of them due to this? Thanks again! Rich.
  8. To be fair I personally think he's done a sterling job of this replica so far. it's not my Kinda thing, but people who build replicas are interested in making something that looks authentic. Which is what he's done. It's not like he's scrimped on cheap parts and painted the car with rattlecans, it's been to a body shop and done properly. All the best with the project fella
  9. I've been on a few forums in my time and this forum is by far the easiest going when it comes to styling, some go for big kits others stay completely stock, and some go somewhere in between
  10. I know, I thought someone would want this for £50! I paid more or this when it was damaged!
  11. My favourite ever wheels. If I wasn't on a budget, these would be mine! Glws
  12. Some great info in here! Thanks again guys! And thanks Haywood! I think that's what I'm gonna do!
  13. Yeah that's the stuff. This chrome paint he's used looks good! Anyone know what he's used?
  14. I just bought some chrome vinyl off eBay, you can't use any heat on it, as it's too thin and just crinkles up. I actually ended up cutting it up into sections and applying it in three pieces around the outside, then a single circular piece on the face, and then another three pieces for the inside of the ring, then I trimmed the excess off with a sharp knife, I won't lie, it took fooking ages, probably a hour per ring, but it was the best that I think is possible without getting the whole thing re chromed. As the rings are not removable!
  15. Wow, I didn't realise there were so few!
  16. Also I can't find the blurb about legal number plate sizes?
  17. Hey guys, I've ordered the smaller front plate from jurgen but I've decided to smooth off the number plate holes and relocate it, I'm going for a ww/RMM front lip on my stock bumper and considered using the recess on the front lip? But I'm not sure on the legality of that? Or my second choice is to do something similar to this dc2? Opinions? Recommendations?
  18. The rays I had were a work of art, it seemed a shame to fit them! The plus point is they come with 4 seven sided locknuts that at first glance look identical to the others, which I thought was great until my mechanic decided to hammer a socket onto the end of them because he didn't think to check for a locknut
  19. I re chromed mine last year and I used chrome vinyl. I think its probably the best cheap option, but it takes some patience! Rich.
  20. I've got a set of the extended d1's at the moment, seem ok quality, not quite as good as the rays ones I had on my last car tho.
