  1. I know this has been answered a load of times but the search facility is not bringing up the desired info, so sorry guys! Whats the process for cleaning 02 sensors? Ive got a spare set so i can clean them With No Time restraints! I've heard lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda? how long do I need to leave them soaking for?
  2. Really? I've had th car a year now and always put super in it... If I knew I'd be saving myself a few pennies!! Thanks again guys!
  3. As the title really, wondered if it's reasonably safe putting 95octane in my n/a as my local station is Always running out of super an I have to crawl to the next one in hope they have some
  4. whats the part numbers? i know a guy from a previous club who worked for toyota and could get some good discounts... if i could find him i'll find out some prices!
  5. ok, cool cheers for the info guys, probably go for something like a emanage blue if i do it, unless anyone knows of someone able to remap her? it was pretty reasonable on fuel, but recently its dropped off... high teens very low 20's when crusing... i am actaully in a postion to sell but im having second thoughts... i cleaned the o2 sensors shortly after i got her, but ive never replaced them, what kinda cost am i looking at for a new set?
  6. can it be done or is it a case of getting a piggyback? im considering keeping my supe a bit longer if i can get it mapped for better mpg :S
  7. Contemplating selling up, because I need a bit more room in the car & I just really really fancy a scoob :S I've never really wanted one, I just fancy one all of a sudden! It'd be a 2001 wrx bugeye, anyone had any good experience with them? Anything to look out for when buying? I know I'll have another supe in the future, poss a tt weekend toy, Or a Sz-r... But when I don't need the extra space!
  8. I've got some Bojo tools I can use for prising them apart, do I just reheat the parts an push them back together or use some sealant to re attach them?
  9. Awesome, some great advice rolling in. Cheers guys! Shall I key the internals before spraying them, or shall I just clean them and then spray straight on top?
  10. Lol classic. Do I put it on anything or straight on the rack? *awaits more cooking banter* the guide that I've seen says 10 mins at 200 degrees, is that right or not? As that seems a bit hot and a bit too long for my liking!!
  11. Hey guys, I've seen the numerious threads on how to do it, I'm pretty confident I should be ok, but any other pointers? Things to watch out for? Also when the light goes in the oven, do I need to wrap it up in anything? Also shall I use gloss black, Matt black or satin black?
  12. Also in regards to the skirts and spats, I agree... I wanted the bomex spats for ages even before I got the supe, but since choosing to go for a stock looking front as apposed to the top secret front I initially planned to fit I think a set of stock oem skirts and spats are on the cards!
  13. Thanks for the kind words, I personally like boot builds when it serves a purpose, not when it's a case of filling the boot with as much 'Ice' as possible. My reasoning for the build was to utilise as much of the wasted space in the boot floor, therefore creating more useable space. I'm glad you approve! I've done similar installs on my previous cars but none to this extent of building a framework for the whole false boot floor, so its nice to get some positive feedback!
  14. @mr t Awesome yeah I've still got all of that, loads of history with her. @supraturbochris Cheers mate, I try to keep it in good condition! It looked as if the car had been stored when I got itso i had it mopped by a local bodyshop and waxed once a month since. @guigsy Na, it's a vacuum gauge no boost for me!
  15. Wow! It's nice to see some original pics of her! I've actually still got all the service history from when you owned her too, I'll pm you when I get a minute, it'd be nice to know some background info if you don't mind?
  16. Ah! I see! Is it the one with the hks superdragger? Manual or auto?
  17. Cheers mate, do you still drive youres about? I've seen 2 silver and one black supe in the local area. Cheers for the imput! Yeah pedobear is a bit of a giggle! I've dished them out to a few mates too! Lol
  18. Hey guys. Gonna be fitting my hid kit hopefully today, I remember I had to reverse the polarity on my starlet Glanza, is It the same case with the supra?
  19. Cheers homer! That means alot coming from you! I'll try an get some pics of it opened up so you can see the extra space it's made.
  20. I also do intend on facelifting the headlights at some point, is there a guide anywhere to help me? Every time I use the search button it goes to the newest threads as spouses to the most appropriate!
  21. Cheers guys, yeah pedobear is on for the ride! Lol I keep having a change of heart on the sideskirts and spats, I fancy going oem now I have the active front, but I do kinda like the bomex spats :S what do you guys think? Also, Any tips on improving fuel economy? (Apart from taking off my lead boots!) I've heard decatting helps a bit I've put some iridium plugs in, cleaned the o2 sensors and stock filter in the airbox. I'm getting about 25ish atm, but I'm gonna be changing jobs soon and a long daily commute is on the cards! Just got my 35w hid kit this morning so that'll be going on tomorrow hopefully.
  22. well since ive been on the forum ive not really shown many pics of my car, so i thought id put some recent ones up to share in the last few months ive relocated the foglight,(and had the holes filled) resprayed the interior plastics, made the gauge pod, fitted leather wheel, completed my install, fitted my locked in place active front, fitted the sideskirts and rear spats, sprayed up the engine bay, and just generally some tinkering! hope you like! engine bay active front install: (the lines are areas that can be removed to gain access to tools and spare wheel, also the bit where the stock sub fits is now a cubby hole for all my polish ) finished gauge pod and some exterior pics: Rich.
  23. May be interested in the veilside ones too if you'll post them?
