  1. Overshoot is generally when boost goes over the desired boost level, i.e spiking.
  2. Suzuki Swift, a car that gets totally forgotten about. Not long brought one, 2002 for £450!
  3. PLX stuff is great, with you on that one. Think AEM do something similar,. but doesn't look as good as the OLED PLX gauge.
  4. No different to using a 2 post ramp really as the weight of the car is still only on 4 points. As long as they're good quality axle stands you really shouldn't have a problem.
  5. Costs near to £2k for a proper setup that'll run a TT IIRC
  6. VAT is payable.. Source: http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageTravel_ShowContent&id=HMCE_CL_000014&propertyType=document#P26_2855
  7. Have your parts actually arrived yet though? It'll be down to you to pay import duty etc when you get the bill from the delivery company, RHD Japan don't have anything to do with it.
  8. Blueprint do a rear wheel bearing kit ADT38315, probably cheapest place is Camskill http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m30b0s2975p43221 Not sure I'd bother with a second hand hub, could be in the same situation in a few miles time.
  9. Sounds like an anti roll bar drop link may have gone, especially if one minute it's droopy and the next it's not. Shocks only dampen erm shocks, it's the springs that determine where the car sits.
  10. I'd get the timing belt done if no history.
  11. The new number is 90915-YZZJ3 - Current RRP £9.87 + VAT (that was from November, think they had a slight increase this January)
  12. You can see the knock sensors here. 2 head stud up on the right, directly on the right is a sensor with a plug and wire coming from it, that's number 1, then go to the 5th stud up one the right, and on the right you can just see the 2nd knock sensor (pic is an aristo, but same locations) http://gallery.me.com/garage2you/100084/IMG_0604/web.jpg
  13. On the actual block itself, I don't think there's many at all from memory. 2 X knock sensors - intake side, cylinders 2 & 5 IIRC 1 X crank position sensor - left hand side at the bottom (tucked below the alternator if that was on) 1 X oil pressure - can't remember right now Nothing else comes to mind right now.
  14. Looking for £95 posted to UK mainland, these are around £140 new these days IIRC. Bank Transfer preferred. It's only been used a couple of times. Some light surface rust markings where the paint has been chipped, due to my shed leaking in the rain. You will need two 8mm bolts to attach it to the crank pulley. Edit - Think it only does the JZ series engines http://gallery.me.com/garage2you/100068/IMG_1696/web.jpg http://gallery.me.com/garage2you/100068/IMG_1697/web.jpg
  15. My other half would love this, as she hates driving. Great video that. I guess it would mean lower insurance premiums in the long run, especially for the young, lots of benefits all round I imagine. Lots of new law changes would be needed at a guess also.
  16. If it was locked and the keys not in it, then it may well be the owners insurance that pays out if it was only on the forecourt. I'd see the place Chris mentioned and get some advice.
  17. What class will the Supra be in Paul? Class A? Don't worry, just read the Class eligibility PDF
  18. There's a clutch master and slave cylinder, it could be either.
  19. Blueprint now guarantee their parts for 2 years and are of OEM equivalent quality (so you can use them on cars still under manufactures warranty)
  20. Yes, it's a safety precaution I believe. This won't fix your problem, it's just going to tell you if there is a complete lack of power to the fans.
  21. Pull the fuse, turn the ignition on, fans should come on straight away if there's not a power problem.
  22. When the efi fuse is pulled, the fans should come on, if they do, you'll know it's not a complete power failure to them, and you'll be a little step closer.
  23. Pull the efi fuse with the ignition turned on and report back
