  1. Nope, Seems legit. Someone has actually bodged GTR rear lights into their Supra. Peter
  2. I'm gonna say a possible bad earth? Not an ideal solution but you could get a blue LED strip and stick it above the speedo as a temporary fix. Another option is to get some ELglo dials that are powered by a light positive. Peter
  3. Is it a jap import mate? Has it had a speedo converter attached to convert KMH to MPH? If so, then that could be your culprit. Peter
  4. They look great mate. I really wanted the Facelift ones as well but with the difference in price, i think i'll be going UK glass when the time comes Peter
  5. Awesome looking Supra you''ve got there mate. Good job Jurgen is a really nice guy to get on with too.
  6. This is a pain in the arse. My daily driver Honda Prelude fooked earlier in the week and won't start. Been waiting all week to get it looked at by a mobile mechanic. Now a friend of a friend says he may be able to come tonight after work. Depends what time he comes/leaves if ill be able to make it. Bloody typical this is. Was really looking forward to a catch up with you guys.
  7. Since it's a mates birthday i should still really go out on the night time which means missing the film. That said, i'll happily come for the food first in the Supra to catch up with you guys then head off into town later on. Just don't post up about how the film was until i've seen it Peter
  8. I've been out of the game here for a while while the supes been off the road and not had much time to post. I'm getting my Supra springs fixed hopefully on Wednesday. Supposed to be going out on Friday night but i may be able to move some things around. Be awesome to turn up to the new film in my replica. Peter
  9. I really like the design there. Looks well cool.
  10. have you tried the Classic American magazine? They always have a load of classifieds in. It's available from WH Smiths. Also, the MPG depends largely how you drive it. Bigger engines tend to mean you don't have to push them as hard to move them around. If i drive my 3.8V6 firebird normally then i get the same MPG as i do in my 2.0 cars. A guy at a show last year had a dodge viper V12 with an 8 litre engine or something and he has a similar experience. Not that i think you'll be wanting to drive it economically mind you Peter
  11. Chevy Impala SS Buick Riviera Boattail Oldsmobile Cutlass http://flipacars.com/pics/Oldsmobile/oldsmobile-cutless-02.jpg Peter
  12. I love muscle cars. They hafve a real road presence. I've always like the Firebird Trans Am. There are a lot of Muscle cars that peop,le tend not to think of though. There was the Chevelle SS, The Chevrolet Impala (made famous again in the TV series Supernatural) Pontiac GTO etc, All great cars
  13. I say it looks best at the height it is now. Suits the look of the car. If you want a lower spoiler, i'd say get a totally different one instead of lowering the legs. Peter
  14. I have to say I like white or black. Even though my car is lambo orange pearl, if I wasn't doing a f&f replica, I'd probably have gone with white or black. Peter
  15. Celica...........Well i never It's an Eclipse lol. Check out my thread
  16. No prob Happened when i put my aftermarket exhaust on. Did you get the same one as me in the end Shaz?
  17. No offence taken Dunk. They aren't just vinyl pinstripes, they are rubber seals. I quite like them. It actually does look like an aerotop from a distance. Even had someone ask me to take the roof off once lol. Here are some pics of the 2 cars together Peter
  18. Could just be a noise from the exhaust mate, boost or not. Mine has a similar intermittent noise sometimes from the exhaust. Could just be that. Peter
  19. The gap is gone now mate. I'd just lowered it off the jack and it settled after I took it for a drive. I think I may need to get the rear arches rolled after all as there is only about 10mm clearance at rest between the wheel and arch and I had some rubbing last night on dips and bumps. Ill get some pics of both cars together today providing it doesn't rain again. The old veilside Andrews are going up for sale when I clean them up. Peter
  20. Here are some pics with new wheels on. Bought these Antera 19" wheels from ebay at what i thought was a good price. Noticed that they came with flush fit valves but no adapter. Got the seller to send me an adapter as he didn't have the original and it didn't fit. Ended up having to get the holes drilled out to fit a regular valve as the Flush Fit's were made for the wheels and used a smaller hole. After that i wen't for some spigots to be told that they were a direct fit and the spigot was there but had slightly rusted and blended to the wheel. Really happy about this, i got home tyo find out that there was 1 spigot ring missing. As i couldn't get just 1 i had to order 4, which was even more money i didn't really want to spend on the wheels. Anyway, here they are and they look a lot closer to the films wheels than the Veilside Andrews i had on before. Peter
