I'm not sure if this will help but over the last few weeks I have been battling with my boost to get it running correctly - frankly its behavoir was random to say the least. Sometimes it worked fine, sometimes the second turbo came online late and sometimes the 1st turbo did nothing and subsequently the second wasnt spooling either. I checked every hose imaginable, the actuators etc and finally the bov - it showed some improvement once i had checked all of these bits but it still wasnt right - it finally started working properly when I flushed the oil and changed the oil filter. Since giving the beast an oil change its working spot on!

and before anyone states the obvious....cycling - i know lol - type? road off road etc

I once sold a watch via ebay and subsequently paypal and a buyer accepted my buy it now price which was pretty hefty - I got all excited and then recieved a very official looking email from paypal saying that due to the large amount of money involved that they were holding the money until i provided a tracking number to prove that the item had been posted - with that they will release the money to me. I wouldnt have thought twice about it as the email looked 100% accurate, however I luckily called paypal to find out what details they needed at which I point i found out the whole thing was a scam and that paypal would never, under no circumstances hold money like that - there are some very clever people out there!

After well and truly shooting themselves in the ar3e this year and seemingly pressing the self destruct button with the lack of depth in the squad - I honeslty thought nothing would make me feel better about being a supporter of the gunners this year (and infact the last 5 years) However I saw this this morning which made me chuckle and although I am admirer of what The special one is capable of, and being somewhat jealous of Real Winning their first trophy this year - this is a golden moment.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13155619.stm

Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze - sorry wrong film.. http://tuquoque.blogspot.com/2006/05/dan-brown-and-illuminati.html On a serious note, I definately believe in the history of the Illuminati, I think Winston Churchill famously spoke out about them. Do I believe in them now? well i'm not sure but suffice to say that I am sure there is a whole lotta stuff going on when you scratch the surface that tbh i'm quite glad i dont know about and if we didnt have it, the consipricy theories would involve things like bran flakes

I missed something...lol The management company can refuse but the chances are that they will probably turn round and say that you are in the minority and that you will need more people to agree with you before taking action - they used to love the line, 'its not just your money we manage its got to be of interest to everyone'. All that simply does is put the ball back in your court and the residents end up doing everything. We found an effective way would be to put a petition up in the communal area (do you have a notice board where the cleaners "cleaning form" is?) Stick one up there and see if it draws the attention of your neighbours.
-
It SHOULD be the responsibility of the management company to check these things....however from my experience the management companies (esspecially if they don't have enough staff) don't check the grounds as often as they should unless something has come up and they need to visit. A lot of these places rely on their contractors to provide them with feedback (which can be biased) This can work in favour of the tenants sometimes as often the management company will fall under pressure if they are given enough stick. But a good management company should have an approximate timescale, once the developer has passed over the responsbilility of the communal areas and they will have a sinking fund that you all pay for that funds the big one off things like redecoration or major repairs (to things like water features if you've got them) Really - they should document all of this sort of stuff when they write to each year and tell you how much the service charge will be. Are you apartments split up into lots of small blocks with 6 to 10 flats in them or are you in one big block? If you are in a small block then you could have a word with you neighbours and see if you could get your block tidied up a bit and then let everyone else worry about their own blocks.

As above, looked like a nice clean motor from my balcony. Was tempted to hop in mine and come n have a blaze around my hood (lol)

I used to work for a management company many moons ago and they have a difficult time of it, they have to find a balance between getting all of these things done whilst keeping the account as low as possible so they dont end up charging the property owners at the end of each year. However, after the 1st year or 2 of working out the needs of the grounds upkeep they should (if they are any good) be able to keep on top of things so it seems a shame that after 5yrs of being there that they dont seem to have gotten on top of it! There are a number of things to consider, Management Companies hate it when they dont get paid (who doesnt!?) but you cant really sabotage the monthly payments on your own as this wont have the effect you are after - it will need a substantial group of you (51%) before the residents start really having a voice. Is there a residents association? The other problem, is all to often a lot of these properties are rented out and private tenants generally aren't as bothered as the owners but then if the owners have rented their place out, as long as they are getting their rent they dont seem to care too much! I would also watch the contractors that are used - again if they are good contractors they should keep on top of it - if they are not then the management company will need to look at changing them or using more so the job gets done properly - additional cost to the property owners! All too often the management company will be using the cheaper contractors to keep the bills down and increase their profit margin. If you get really p1ssed off the with them, then the residents can take over but again you will need at least a 51% share of owners to be on side. My best advice, is nag them - get on the phone to the company everyday - management companies hate people who nag and they will gets things done if only to stop the nagging phone calls! Best of luck!

I have never considered it something that provides more power, it helps supply fuel to the engine with a constant pressure. My understanding is that the spring inside the regulator pushes against the diaphragm and helps to regulate the pressure inside. The additional fuel that is not needed is sent back to the fuel tank through the fuel return line.

To all of those very clever chaps and chappettes out there that can fabricate these sort of things, I need a support bracket for my fmic. Similar to this i guess: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Alum-Intercooler-Bracket-Mounting-bar-Supra-240SX-Civic-/390070660166?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ad205ec46 Just without the ridiculous shipping costs. Can anyone help - OR peoples advice on how their intercoolers are supported to chassis Thankyou

Hmmm, typical of april fools day - I just took my car out and everything seemed fine until reaching a roundabout. As i slowed down to a stop my car didnt want to drop below 4000 revs! Out of gear and it sat there revving at 4k so I immediately pulled over and opened the bonnet and fortunately...very fortunately the rubber grommet on the throttle cable had come loose and stuck itself further up the line so the cable couldnt move back into its stationary position....I had shat myself prior to this point, removed the plastic and car was back to normal!!! My heart is still racing now as we speak!

After some searching around I have worked out the fitting of the controller. Im comfortable with what goes where and getting it plumbed in... Referring to pics 2 & 3 (front and back) Does anyone have an idea of how to control this (one dial on the front and 3 dials on the rear)
-
Thanks - you managed to do a lot better than I did finding this. It has a Japanese Website hiding behind it whichi s definately the same company that made this boost controller but they dont seem to have any info on it anymore! Anyways, next bit - can it be used on my car, and any ideas on plumbing it in?? Solenoidwise - it has two open ports on it and a third blocked off (?) Do i only need the two to get it running? This might be a silly question but does it connect to the ECU or do you connect the solenoid to the boost controller, live and earth wires and plumb the vacuum hose in?
-
That would be my little hands! If anyone can confirm that this can be used can some guidance to fitting be given too - it looks relatively simple but any info would be helpful thank you!
