  1. Wrong, I am a tester and if a child seat is fitted using the adult belt to secure it in place then a full inspection of the adult belt is not required.
  2. The wife was at work, the party I was going to got cancelled so I stayed in and watched series one of the muppet show on DVD with the cat. I'm 35, it does'nt get much better than that. Oh Happy new Year.
  3. If a child seat is fitted using the belt provided then the seat belt does not even have to be tested so that it avoids this kind of situation. This should be mentioned on the VT32 advisory notice.
  4. Staying in too. The party I was going to is cancelled so going out tonight instead. I'll probably be on here listening to Michael moaning.
  5. Exactly there is always someone piping up to proclaim them as a hairdressers car or gay car, but chances are they have never actually driven one.
  6. Can't fault mine, been my daily driver for well over a year now.
  7. I test em all the time. Slight fluffing & fraying is acceptable, however if it is cut or damaged in such a way that it either weakens the webbing itself or restricts the belt from retracting the slack once clipped in with the seat fully in the back postion then it can qualify as an RFR - reason for refusal (failure). 8. Chrikey I remember all this, used to have a Super burner and stripped all the gold coating off to reveal a lovely chrome frame. Put on some OGK mags, GT bars, mushroom grips, bear trap pedals, kashamax seat etc. Oh the memories.
  9. Saw a Tescos ad for these at £39.99
  10. Ah, but have they used the search function?
  11. Thanks mate I work for Shit-Fit as an MOT tester. I have a £10 Draper trickle charger bought from Halfrauds which I leave on the car all the time and never had a problem since. Good bit of kit.
  12. I can still do this and I am 35 so there is hope. 10 yrs teaching kickboxing does help the old fitness thou.
  13. No mate, Water not electric, don't get those two mixed up.
  14. Or try http://www.motuk.co.uk Haven't seen that one before Jake, added to favourites:)
  15. I work out of Shit-Fit in Worthing and being a large national company we are heavily QC'd and audited so unfortunately no 'friendly' MOT's as far as emissions are concered. But I can give good honest advice and no one gets ripped off.
  16. A few clips and screws removed is all thats usually required to see the interesting bits.
  17. I'll set up the Betamax especially for this one.
